Nice to see a lead-out work! A 1-2 is definitely something special, congratulations to Crabbe-CC
Knotten trying his best in the break for the second day, sadly the other riders in the break are also U25 and better sprinters. Happy with the television time nonetheless.
Looking forward to the next stage, as Mutsumine should be around the top-10 of the puncheurs here. On a good day he should be able to finish inside the scoring positions.
Thanks for the report, lief!

Always cool to see Krieger winning. Great CT sprinter really. In especially nice to see after 2 failed train attempts on the opening stages. With a lot of frustration taking a 1-2 now with Liepins beasting it there.
Off from the January flat and hill stuff. Let`s get onto the mountains now!
Nice report liefwarrior. Thanks for those daily stages! |

Well, I guess a leadout train worked there?! I mean, it really really worked. Congrats!
As for us, another day, another young guy showing off in the break. Happy with the screentime.

The Crabbes are putting together a very fantastic start to their existence. Another decent position for Vingerling even if it's absoluletely cursed how my train has been working, we're slowly but surely getting closer to the important stages tho.
Hopefully Vingerling can survive stage 4 and make a real claim for the green jersey!

Leknessund grabbing a few points is great to see, keeping white jersey will be pretty impossible, but it's an encouraging sight nonetheless, hopefully he can keep this up in non C2 races

Keough going to sleep there but can't complain about 2 good stages out of 3. Losing the jersey stinks but think he would have had to do really well again to keep it given how the number of sprint points. Still in with a shot at green.
Crabbe a deserving winner after their failures on the first few days.
Tomorrow's stage is dangerous for Kuss given his hill challenges so would be fine if they took it easy and let the breakaway take it.

Jiang has had a better than expected start to this one for us, hopefully Campero can follow his lead and perform just as good on the GC days.

Gotta be happy with that from Dan Martin. There are better Time Triallers but among the pure climbers he's not too bad so hopefully will head into the Mountains in good shape.
Another chance for Bennett in the next stage although looks likes a slight hill finish?

Obviously not ideal for Olesen to drop on a stage that suited him and swiftly lose more than enough time to be out of even the minor GC fight.
Hopefully that means he will be attacking in the mountains.

Definitely happy with that. Kuss playing with fire when he wasn't in that first big split but apparently he was keeping he powder dry and made the split that counted. It was a happy moment for me when I saw the McCormick rider in the finish line shot - was confused for a moment why it wasn't #41 but that must be Keough.
Thanks for another great report and contgrats to Gjensidige.

Thank you for yet another great report.
That was a bit suprising to be honest. But, the man we wanted to lead the team is now in yellow. And also nice to see all the guys fighting hard the entire day.

Hell yes Jonathan Salinas Love to see him do well and leading again after some years slaving - brilliant!

We've got to put our strategies straight. In Gisborne Chaves attacked from a long way out, while here, on stage 4, we were passive, letting the competition gain time on us. Although we had the numbers to prevent such a scenario from happening. Hopefully we'll manage to recover on the upcoming mountainous stages.
Marin warms my heart. On stage 4 he finished with the second group and if I am not mistaken he was the only sprinter or one of the very few sprinters to do so. And then the cherry on the cake, he played perfectly to comfortably win the stage.
Now one of our objectives is secured, at least a stage win, and we are on the next, fighting for the yellow jersey.
Thank you for the amazing reports! |
