Sure, sign-ups for this season are still open

Provisional:
• Name: Bob Bobson
• Nationality: United-States
• Specialization: Northern Classics
• Favourite Team (from the ones in the game): EF Education - Nippo
• Career Goal: Win Paris-Roubaix
• Height: 172 cm

I was wondering, what are the main differences between "Fighter," "Barouder," and "Roluer" specializations?

They have different starting stats and progression. You can check them out by downloading the Career Progression file from last season, the tab "Base" shows you the starting stats for each type as well as the maximum progression per stat each year (though you won't have enough stat points to max out everything every year).

Thanks Ripley
Very crudely, a Roleur is a flat beast type of rider, great for pulling on flats, etc. Fighter and Barouder are more similar in their makeup. Not sure if this matches what everyone thinks by those terms, but in the game, both are attackers but a barouder favours the flat more while the fighter would prefer the climbs more. Starting stats might not always reflect that perfectly but ending stats will.
Hope that helps Will approve your rider once you confirm.

That makes sense with what I was thinking. In that case, I think I'll stick with northern classics.

As a child, Bobson's family bounced around the backwoods of the Northeastern United States, between upstate New York and New England. He becomes acquainted with riding his bike on all types of terrain this way. As Bobson emerged as a teenager in the local crits his family would drive hours to, it became clear that despite his smaller size, he did not have the skillset of a climber or puncheur. Instead, his trademark attribute was his versatility on subpar road surfaces.
One trait defined all the places he lived as a child, and that was poor road surfaces. He grew accustomed to riding on severely cracked, uneven pavement from a young age, as well as obstacles like dirt and gravel roads. When he raced an amateur criterium that used part of the Tour of the Battenkill course at 16, he soon found that this was not just a coincidence. The skills he had practiced his entire life translated to the cobblestones - at least as much as he could tell.
From there, he made it his dream to make it to Europe and put himself to the test. Like most American cycling fans, he had grown up only knowing the Tour de France, but by the time he turned 18, all his eyes with focused on the spring cobbled classics, where he sees his future in the peloton. The dream: Paris - Roubaix. First to be there, then to compete, and finally, to win.
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy

Thanks for the profiles, they look nice
Are there no more symbols describing the stage in this PCM version? Sometimes it's hard to differentiate between flat/hilly and hilly/mountainous.

There are but they aren't within the image of the profile. For mangame we (abhi mostly) had to manually paste them into the images for the race profiles. My guess is he has skipped that for RTG as it is pretty tedious.

Basically what Ulrich said. I haven't given terrain icons for RTG from the start. It's up to everyone's understanding.

- Download the file from the above location.
- Enter your Rider's ID in cell C3 of the 'Progression' sheet. The cells originally marked #N/A will populate. You can look up rider IDs in the 'Custom Riders DB' sheet.
- Cell F9 shows how many statpoints you can further allocate to your rider.
- F4-R4 shows your rider's current stats. F5-R5 shows the max stats your rider can achieve in each category.
- Enter the increase in statpoints (not actual stats) that you want against each stat in F6-R6.
- F7-R7 will show the increased stats. If any cell in F7-R7 turns red, it means that you have entered a value which increases the stat to above the permissible limit and needs to be reduced.
- No stat can be increased by more than 3 points in a year. The sheet will not allow you to do so and will throw an error message.
- If you are satisfied, copy cells F6-R6 and send it to me in a table via PM.
- Please do not make any other changes to the file.
In case of any questions, please ask here or PM me. Hoping to have this done in the next 10-12 days or so. Will announce deadline soon.

Only 6 more stat updates to get, so it's good time to start the next task,
Link: https://www.dropb...shxdkhzbsv
- Download the file from the above location.
- Enter your rider's ID in cell I2 in 'Calendar' sheet. All cells marked #N/A will be populated. Please check if the populated details are correct. All riders are less than 24 years old and should have 60 RDs available.
- You can look up your rider's ID in 'Custom Riders DB' sheet. The stats in this sheet do not have the development included.
- Select the number of training blocks you want your rider to attend and enter a value between 1 and 3 in cell M2 (this is not mandatory). Each training block costs 5 RDs but gives guaranteed points as specified in the Points file. A maximum of 15 RDs can be spent on training. (A reminder that training effectiveness decreases with age, and the details are available in the points file shared in the first post)
- Clashing races are marked with letters 'A' through 'I' in column E. The races which clash with each other have the same letter against them.
- Enter '1' in cells F2-F42 for the races you want to participate in.
- Cell I10 will tell you the number of RDs you have remaining. It will turn red if you enter more races than your RDs allow. It has to be zero or a positive number.
- Once you are satisfied, copy cells C2-F42 and send them to me in a table via PM. Also send me the value in cell M2 (number of training blocks).
Note 1: U25 races are not mandatory for RTG riders. Choose any race you want, as long as you stay within the allowed RDs. Calendar file is available in the first post of this thread
Note 2: Please note the decreasing impact of training for older riders. Points file is available in the first post of this thread.
Note 3: Rider stat updates are not updated in the 'Custom Riders DB' sheet of the shared excel.
In case of any questions, please ask here or PM me. Hoping to have this done in a couple of weeks. Will share deadline later if needed.
Sign-ups close tomorrow. You can still enter if you want to.
