Viviani was really bad but Van Winden and Leung make up for it with good performances. On paper Van Winden is the weakest of my 79 timetrialists but he often beats the others. Now I hope there won’t be any decisive splits on the last stages and then I’ll be content with this race. |

That was very bad tactics from Sagiv, in our home race to make things worse.
I'm pretty sure he wins that sprint from literally any other position than first.
However, we gained points on our rivals on a day where we absolutey shouldn't have, so that easily outweighs the complaint!

Gaspar was obviously going to be the slowest in a sprint but happy that we manage to pick up some unexpected points! Also Chersakov looking quite strong with a nice harvest of points for Desigual. Also Phinney pulling the pack was quite odd.

Sigh... 3 flat stages not a single point scored by the superior sprinter. No one is even remotely close to matching him stat wise, yet he can't do shit at all. Even if he wins the final stage (which he won't) it will be a disastrous race pointwise - despite Vlatos doing fine.
A race like this means that Coquard won't reach his expected points haul unfortunately.

Cherkasov having the race of his life right now. What a performance!

Great try from Yzeiraj. We'll take those 12 points Cherkasov just as strong as you can expect him to be, when he first finds himself up front. Congratulations, Mre! |

One down, one to go. A tiny bit worried that Phinney would try to force a split as Würtz was a bit behind, but luckily nothing came out of it. Congrats on the win, Mre

No offense to the winner, but it's a shame it went to the breakaway this time. Howard once again at his best. At least it's the points lead then. Hold on to it, ol' dirty bas***.

Congrats to Grieg for the nice win.
I had hoped for more really and it`s another step closer to relegation unfortunately. When having a top3 sprinter here only getting 3rd, 5th and 6th and giving one sprinter stage to the breakaway is too less. I know, others are hit even harder, but as I need points, being that far off from the big points hurts.
Thanks for the reports. |

Argh. Well, Manninen with a deserved win then. Obviously had hoped for Howard to outsprint him somehow, but it wasn't meant to be. 2nd in points and a stage win is fine though, can't complain. Culey had his shot at the KoM, too. GC wise we also couldn't expect much more than a 25th place for small points.
Thanks for the reports!

So 14th, 29th, 16th and 76th place for Guarneri on the flat stages. A poor ending to an otherwise brilliant season for him. Surprised to see him so far off the pace.
I think we can safely put away our top 5 aspirations by now. We did so well for so long, but unfortunately our form since the last rankings update has been dismal
Thanks for the reports, Abhi. And congrats to tastasol!

Good to see Coquard finally trying, but once again Manninen delivers the perfect sprint. Congrats to Valio.
Very happy to see us safely through the last two stages. A huge win for Würtz, who might even end up as the highest point scorer in our team this season. We expected more from him since he maxed out, but I hadn't expected him to be this good throughout the season.
Thanks for all the reports, Abhi! And thanks for the congrats, roturn and Sykkel

Thanks to Vlatos and Ioannidis we ALMOST landed the minimum expected points here. But no thanks to Coquard that's for sure. A 3rd place as best result from 4 pancake flat stages that he should on paper win 2-3 of. Ouch!
But we have to be happy that Vlatos showed up and secured us a good result atleast.
Congrats tasta for a great win here!

Thank you for the reports and congrats to those who experienced success but, unfortunately, yet another poor race for us.

Lucky Yzeiraj to pick up some KoM points. 4th overall in the KoM standing is at least something, eventhough it's very, very minor
Congratulations on the overall win, tastasol! |

And to think, I've let him walk for nothing. Another transfer blunder

In the fight with Festina, we've been very lucky in the sprints, but very unlucky in the TT here.
It could've easily been even better for them, but they at least got somewhat close to a satisfying points haul while 15th and 28th is nowhere near that for us, particularly in a home race.
Let's see if that difference will matter in the end.
Congrats to Grieg on a surprising win that should get you out of trouble for good, and thanks Abhishek for the reports!
