Oh, and I forgot the most important: Congrats to Abhi for the first of probably many Kelderbeast wins this year, and for the accomplished win goal
And huge thanks to Marco for a great report with lots of details! Obviously on one hand loved Centovalli being so active, on the other hand it probably cost us some depth points. Won't be complaining after such a great first day of racing, though
And finally, congrats to all of Nordica, Sotto il sole di Riccione, Strava, Project: Africa and Bralirwa for scoring your first points - decent start for you!

well we managed to get a top 20 out of it, but I was hoping Anuar Aziz would at least be a top 15 puncher this year, so hopefully not every field will be this strong or this was a slightly off day for him

Surely a bit of a relief for Philips there - having the stand-out favourite does not always seem to deliver, but that result is a very promising sign for the rest of the season.
Thanks for the report Marco - always good to see a depth of coverage for the finishing positions, going beyond just the front of the race!

Well failed goal but it was always going to be hard with Kelderman here aha. I’m not unhappy with 7th nice top 10 to begin the year off. Now hopefully Edmondson can repeat his performance from last year in the TDU!!
Congrats To Kelderman

We didn't do much in the second half of the race but Kelderman did what he had to and got a comfortable win in the end. Good effort from Watson to get 5th
This was not a familiar sight last season, especially in the first half, so it's good to have the first win and the first goal ticked off immediately. Kelderman had one win and we achieved just one goal last year, so we've already tied those records here!
Thanks to everyone for the congrats And thanks to Marco for the great report!

So casual from Wilco Kelderman, seemed like a walk in the park for him

Congrats to Philips. The top favorite wins followed by the expected riders more or less. And as often team support can come high with such favorite.
Thanks for the report! Nice read and well covered. |

Great to see Agrotis giving it a go in the break. We have Festina riders active all over the place
Congrats with the win for Philips. Nice start.

Nice result for Philips and great to see Watson already delivering a backup result behind Wilco.

Great read Marco
Amazed to see Laurens De Vreese in the top 10, good deal for Carlsberg, I hope Brouwers goes as well for us.
Congratulations to Abhi, must be a satisfying to see Wilco deliver.

Can't complain - we got some points on the board and tv time. The only time we will see a good result in hilly races it would be due to ridiculous daily form or a lucky attack.
Relieved for Abhishek that Kelderman could finish it off!

Excellent reporting from Marco! And we see what might be a common sight this season. Kelderman domination and even had the cheek to celebrate what looked like 100 metres from the line in the screenshot

Good to see that this to a large extent followed the form book, so congrats to Philips on the expected Kelderman victory (might he do a clean sweep of all CT races he particpates in? (!!)). The other podium spots also make solid sense, and good to see that JJ has a new lease of life for Carlsberg now facing CT level competition where he looks much more at home, and on a cheap wage may well be one of the most productive points/wage riders in the division come the end of the season.

We had several man up there, but scored only minor points.
We should definately have acquired a leader |
