It's a good thing Joseph scored some minor GC points here, because Van Asbroeck did hist best Waeytens impression again.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

I guess the team thought it was a one-day race. Only Zepuntke did some effort to keep himself in a high GC position, but the others did not care anymore.
Thanks for the reports jph and congrats Tamijo on the overall!

Not at all satisfied with our sprint performances. Guarnieri finds himself way too far back with 1km left every time. Our train has generally been working well, but here it clearly didn't function at all. Breen's good GC result and the team classification win is at least some consolation.
Thanks for the quick reports, jph!

Come on! Good train by us but "only" 5th....
One stage win was not as much as we hoped for and only 6th in GC by Ahlstrand...
Thanks for reportin! |

Oh my that a brilliant turn of events, Kris Boeckmans from 6th to stage and race winner. Points and U25 Classification as lots of creme on the Cake.
Thanks for the great report(s)

Thought for a moment Holloway was going to double up but Boeckmans was too strong. Congrats to Tamijo. Still a good race for McCormick.
Thanks for the reports.

Just about what we could expect here, exactly nothing. Ulanowski is literally worse than Pluchkin or almost any other climber in sprint stages...

Given his supposed skill level, Enger is complete sh*t... :/
Rowe has been the best sprinter this team has ever had! I should never believe in a sprinter with ACC<75 ever again!

Nice ride today from Rowe, we didn't do quite as well as I hoped in the road stages but okay. Could have hoped for better but a decent enough race with a stage win and podium, a day in yellow and two decent GC rides means this race was alright for us.
Absolutely stunning win for Campari in their promotion chase, gotta love it, congrats Tamijo! And much thanks for the reports as ever jph, huge efforts this year!

Whatever I was worried about happened on that last stage
7th and 17th would be decent GC results in normal circumstances, but not at the moment. Decent from Saber to be in contention for all the sprints, but the final results don't really give me a lot of hope for the sprint events to come after this.
Congrats on the great result Tamijo and thanks again for the reports jph

I knew Ciolek was going to be up against it because he isn't a prologue rider, neither has cobble skills, but I still expected better results in the other 4 stages.
6th, 6th, 11th and 6th is not good enough, even in this sprinter field. I also thought Poljanec might do the better in the U25 GC. He looked good for a while, but messed it up.
All in all a month to forget as I see us getting closer to the relagation line again.
Congrats to Tamijo, Boeckmans has been very good all season
Thanks for the reports jph

Congrats to Tamijo, great win and thanks for the great reporting effort jph.
Disappointing to see Cav drop from 2nd to 5th on the last stage after a great result on stage 4.
Pleased to get 3rd in teams with 4 in the top 25.

Have mixed feelings about this one. Felt thrilled after win in stage 3, but loss of white jersey in penultimate and mainly loss of yellow & green in last stage really hurts. Still, 3rd overall is not a failure with random sprints at all.
Congrats Tamijo and thanks jph for extremely fast and steady reporting!

This turned out to be a very interesting race with all the different winners. Not that much for Avelino who never really came close to sniffing one. A top10 is a decent result though.
Congratulations on another victory Tamijo! And thanks for all the reports jph!
