Sutty and Ivaneurope can still catch up, but I do fear most top riders are gone by now. Here are the next results:
For the Rebellin drafts:
POWLESS Neilson
VAN GARDEREN Tejay
DEGENKOLB John
GILBERT Philippe
ROLLAND Pierre
(Still no Rebellin, pretty sure he won a Giro stage some 50 years ago though.)
Nairo won't win TDF drafts:
POGACAR Tadej
LOPEZ Miguel Angel
KELDERMAN Wilco
URAN Rigoberto
HOFSTETTER Hugo
(Seriously, how are we going to beat this guy?)
I Sent a PM To Roturn drafts:
PHILIPSEN Jasper
OOMEN Sam
JUNGELS Bob
BENNETT Sam
PASQUALON Andrea
(Lots of potential here and true to their Benelux roots.)
Sekler Teker drafts:
HODEG Alvaro
SOLER Marc
ACKERMANN Pascal
MOLLEMA Bauke
DUPONT Timothy
(Same as last round, a dangerous team if all goes well)
Pretty Popular Pain Killers drafts:
PADUN Mark
IZAGIRRE Gorka
WOODS Michael
POZZOVIVO Domenico
HERMANS Ben
(No stars, but solid point scorers!)
1 position behind Laporte drafts:
GAUDU Damien
GALLOPIN Tony
PEDERSEN Mads
DE GENDT Thomas
MARTIN Guillaume
(Too bad about the missed start, because these picks are solid.)
Midfield drafts:
LAMBRECHT Bjorg
BUCHMANN Emanuel
TERPSTRA Niki
SCHACHMANN Maximilian
COQUARD Bryan
(Two top CT picks could make things interesting!)
Why is there no Croatian on the team drafts:
MARTINEZ Daniel
COLBRELLI Sonny
EWAN Caleb
ZAKARIN Ilnur
BARGUIL Warren
(Yeah, you just keep ignoring those cobbles.)
Juraj is the better Sagan drafts:
SOSA Ivan
BILBAO Pello
DENNIS Rohan
ULISSI Diego
CALMEJANE Lilian
(Somehow Juraj never won a WC medal or GT stage?)
EPIC drafts:
EVENEPOEL Remco
STUYVEN Jasper
KRISTOFF Alexander
ARU Fabio
BOUHANNI Nacer
(Hypocrite Bouhanni-hater chooses Bouhanni.)
Evenepoel is the Mbappe of Cycling drafts:
JAKOBSEN Fabio
LATOUR Pierre
VAN DER POEL Mathieu
CARAPAZ Richard
GREIPEL Andre
(All that talent and no Remco?)
Hopefully no screwups (for real this time).
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Unfortunately I have no excel access this weekend and TDU starts next week, so we will have to finish the rest of the draft over the weekend.
R9) Any rider from a nation with a land border with your team nation (allowing all claimed territory here)
R10) Any rider who switched teams in the offseason (fusing teams don’t count)
R11) Any rider who was not in a 2018 WT team
R12) Any rider from the country with the most riders on your team after R8 (your pick in case of a tie)
R13) Any rider from your team nation
After that, there will be more free picks. You can have as many as you want, but keep the rules about min/max in mind. If you would just switch teams every month, you'd need 16 riders to give you an idea. Just state in your PM how many extra riders you would want along with a list.
Deadline will be monday morning, after which I will need your teams for January before TDU starts, you can just post them here.

I probably could've made this more clear, due to the timing issue you will have to send R9-13 + your free picks already. I know this isn't ideal but it's the only way I can see us start in time for TDU.

can't we just do free picks in the thread, as we have no clue who we get and which rider type we need afterwards?

I guess we can do the free picks monday afternoon as well, but you can also send them in already if you're not sure if you can do them on monday.

Ok, so I've been thinking about how we're going to finish all of this in time while also giving you max flexibility.
- R9-13 will be drafted on monday morning, so make sure you get those in
- The free picks will be drafted monday afternoon as late as I can manage, so you have some time to look at what you've drafted. If you can't make that, send them in already so you can keep your draft spot. If you fail both, you still have time to do it later but you will lose your draft spot obviously.
- TDU starts early tuesday morning, so get your team in by midnight CET. If you can't make that, I'll just take your 8 first picks for january since everyone has them already.

Just a quicky this time so you have max time for your free picks. Sutty and Aquarius did not send anything in for this round.

Yes, make sure to specify how many you want as well.
EDIT adding the relevant rules for that choice:
- Only 8 of your riders will earn points each month, meaning you have to select a team before the start of each month by making a post in this thread.
- If you do not have a team selected for a month, I will use the one of the previous month
- A rider will need a month of rest after riding 3 months in a row and will sit out the rest of the season if this happens twice.
- If a stage race runs through 2 months, the opening stage will decide the month it is held in.
- Each rider will have to be selected in at least 3 months.

1 position behind Laporte drafts:
GAUDU Damien
He is David Gaudu or Damien Gaudin? |

Quick questions: how many free picks can I choose and do I get to choose them all at a time or one by one following the draft order. For example:
R14, I choose my first free pick, then R15 I'm the last to choose, and so on? Just trying to find a strategic way to improve the team on the final rounds. |

Still following the draft order. You can add as many as you want, but be sure to look at the rules above.
