First experiment with Novak in this kinda of hilly/tt stage races kinda failed. But the positive thing is the team depth, with 4 riders in the Top32 to give us a somehow decent outcome of the race.
Great win for Izagirre and Iberia, very much needed for them. Also great podium for Xero  And that massive depth of Generali... 
Don't worry tsmoha, it happened also to me with the Worlds last season

6th is fine. It's more points than I ever could've gotten from a C1 one-day race, making this a worthwhile gamble for sure. Of course things could've been better but I don't think I could've expected more either.
Things are looking okay for Reddit now (assuming Besseges stage 3 isn't a total disaster), but it's hard to say how well until we can see our ranking.
Zmorka's third place in the final stage doesn't give us a lot of points, but it's a confirmation that he can perform in hilly time trials in the PCT at least, which is very hopeful in case we relegate and have him lead our CT team next year. |

Get in there, what a brilliant race by Stan the Man to climb on the podium. He earned his money really here! Great to see him delivering again in PCT.

Reus in 13th is not bad, but Tony Martin is very, very bad. My TT investment is not paying off

Oh wow, what an absolutely amazing ride  STAN THE MAN holding off the best TT man in the world by a second and even beating Ignatiev and then hopping onto the podium for our second (?) biggest points haul ever! That's so much more than I expected, what a hero on the road and on the TT bike. GET IN
Thanks to Croatia for the support and selling me your precious Stan the Man, but I take issue with "delivering again". He's already got more than 3/4 of last season's points in one race, he's doing even better now he's at Xero

Strong enough from Cornu there to take 5th in the final stage. He makes up a lot of lost time to finish in a very respectable 11th in the GC. Conci 6th in the U25 is admittedly surprising but good to see from the young fella who'll hopefully excel in races like this in the future.

really disspointed that coppel wasn't able to grab a podium place in this race. 2 stage wins and the points jersey is gonna be great for points but he definitely got dropped on stage 2 a lot earlier than what I hoped.
Overall though, good race for us |

Congrats beagle! Top stuff.
Fantastic ride by Keizer too - what could have been if Coppel stayed in the PT Absolutely incredible he went from ~30th to 9th.
