While I like breaks winning on those kind of stages, I would prefer it`s powerhorses with high flat and a late attack.
Such early break of some really bad level 1 riders that don`t suit such long pacing really, it feels a bit weird.
Feel sorry for Delvaux and Guarnieri, who easily should have taken the win.
Other than that my team did okay. Chased a bit, then with 2 sprinters struggling even, still had 2 in the group and Van Heerden as 6th, which was like 4th actually, a good result.
Markus as leadout in 13th and Hacecky as chaser still 14th is nice bonus.
Wippert and Hochmann will get chances elsewhere without Van Heerden anyway and as long as it works decent without a leadout for JvH, I don`t mind anyway.
Agree with above, not a very nice or realistic win for a low FL solo guy all day long. But it happens and it's not awful, congrats to Oberfranken Also cool to see Magnusson give it a go and be rewarded. And Guarnieri is a monster as shown, he'll deliver this year so head up Sykkel
