Really impressed with Warbasse in Tachira - above what I expected of him for sure! Kireva with a nice performance in GORR, using his good flat skills and sprint to some unexpected success. Who said you couldn't score in sprints?
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Sprint? Oh you mean a 200 meter time trial
Yeah we seem to have a lucky charm in GORR that keeps finding some luck, would be great to see this more often I'd be thrilled!

A very good start to the season for us, a provisional 7th is a good place to be, watching out for the promotion spots. Much has been said, the front of the standings were expected, coming form the past PCT teams. Now it's time to look ahead and keep scoring as much as possible because every point will count toward our final tally.

Also a good view on the individual stadings. Warbasse captured a solid 68 points in Tachira whilst Kiserlovski just in the Classique Pico Basille caught 32, with a brilliant 6th place.
Kireva managed a 12th place in the GORC to snatch some 10 points, the only C2HC yet this season, whilst Uwizeyimana and Urcelay have a couple of points from the Tachira youth classification.

It was an unusual day out. A preety hard race but with no meaningful attacks whatsoever, not favouring Eeckhout at all who could do nothing by himself. He doesn't have the legs to sprint and so was didn't manage a good result.

A big race here for us. The second C1 race of the season for us after Kiserlovski nailed the Pico Basille Classique. Now in Spain, he's here again to suffer in our jersey. Robert Kiserlovski will lead the team and his right arm will be Ole Hirchlein who himself showed superb signs in Langkawi, eventually finishing 12th overall. But it doesn't end there, he will have plenty of support in the mountains and hills, with Carlos Baltazar and José Rujano designated specially to help him. Oscar Cabanas and Bonaventure Uwizeyimana will also do it, and will enjoy the time-trialing present in the race. Adria Urcelay will keep building on his race days, looking to support wherever he can whilst Hugues Mottin will eye the TT's, looking for a strong performance as he is well suited for both.

Stage 1
A short prologue, so not much to take from here. Still it's a promising start, Mottin failed to finish in the Top10 but both Kiserlovski and Herrada gave goood signs.

Stage 2
An important day for the GC on paper, on the road it ended up not being hard enough to cause any serious gaps between the main bulk of contenders. Kiserlovski and Baltazar both rode a brilliant stage and finished 4th and 5th respectively. Great results but with a pinch of a bad taste as they didn't win any time whatsoever to most of their rivals.

Stage 3
A good day for us. The hilly route of today's stage didn't look like it'd create chaos for some riders but it has, including win contender Uran. Kiserlovski finished in the main bunch and didn't loose time to any rival, whilst having distanced some. Baltazar lost a lot of time as expected.

@Tamijo Thanks mate, definetely worth the rd spent here!
@dominox My thoughts exactly, he's done 2 C1 races so far and finished 6th in both. Can't wait for Turkey to see him against the whole CT contingent!

Kiserlovski looks like he's gonna be scary for CT, not looking forward to seeing him in Turkey
Great result against the PCT teams

We travelled all the way to Asia for the Hong Kong Challenge and we carry big ambitions in our luggage. After a great debut in Tachira Larry Warbasse will gear up and will aim to be in contention for the final victory. The hills and time-trialing Kms suit him very well, and he can defend himself in the mountains well compared to the best. He will have two great domestiques in Carlos Baltazar and Ole Hirschlein who both have shown brilliant results already this season. Bonaventure Uwizeyimana will be here in support but with an eye on the U25 classification.
Hugues Mottin comes with the clear target of winning the ITT, and so will Richard Laningo Laizer who we know very well can pull of surprises. Albert Kireva will also eye the ITT but will have a more supportive role. Rounding out the team is Adria Urcelay, who should be a valuable domestique in both stages where he will be needed.

Stage 1
A good day. With some GC contenders giving in some seconds, and our squad working in front sometimes. In the end Warbasse finished in the main group, loosing time to some puncheurs but nothing serious.
Spoiler 12 Lawrence Warbasse + 2'46
49 Albert Kireva + 3'23
50 Bonaventure Uwizeyimana s.t.
58 Carlos Baltazar s.t.
69 Ole Hirschlein + 4'03
122 Hugues Mottin + 8'35
132 Adria Urcelay + 12'15
Spoiler
Uwizeyimana leading the peloton
Stage 2
A big day, both for GC and us. After Mottin posted a strong time, that gave him a 3rd place in the end, so did Warbasse as he finished 4th! An amazing time, beating plenty of TT specialists and give him the pole position in the GC contenders.
Spoiler 3 Hugues Mottin + 16
4 Lawrence Warbasse + 20
19 Albert Kireva + 44
33 Richard Laningo Laizer + 59
35 Bonaventure Uwizeyimana + 1'00
86 Carlos Baltazar + 1'39
104 Ole Hirschlein + 1'49
125 Adria Urcelay + 2'00
GC
4 Lawrence Warbasse + 2'35
Spoiler
Mottin powering to 3rd in the day
Brutal ride from Warbasse
Stage 3
The queen stage, the one that was the most decisive here. Unfortunately it turned out a dark day for us. After Warbasse had responded to an attack from Konig in the flat leading up to the climb, the team pushed on too, and left the American alone in the final climb, where he struggled immensely, finishing 20th and dropping down to 12th overall. A bad day, but it was expected that it happened at some point during the season, he'll rest and focus on his next goals.
Spoiler 20 Lawrence Warbasse + 3'54
35 Carlos Baltazar + 6'15
57 Bonaventure Uwizeyimana + 8'21
67 Ole Hirschlein + 8'27
71 Albert Kireva + 8'30
80 Adria Urcelay + 11'08
174 Hugues Mottin + 21'18
175 Richard Laningo Laizer + 21'50
GC
12 Lawrence Warbasse + 3'17
Spoiler
The team leading the peloton at speed
Warbasse finishes completely empty

There wasn't really much to expect from here. No puncheurs plus it'd be a waste of rd for Kiserlovski/Warbasse, so there wasn't anything to take out form this race. February finished here, in a similar way to how the month went.

some disappointing results at the end there, Warbasse bottled it in HK, but Kiserlovski alone will get you up to top 10 at least. I am
disappointed in your refusal to invest millions into Andorrans, shame, shame, we smallbois gotta take over those rich country fools

Tour of East Java Preview
LINEUP
We have come down to Asia, in Indonesia for the Tour of East Java, a race we tried to participate in last season but were left out due to oversigning. This year though we will debut here and with a very strong team. Robert Kiserlovski has been racing in C1 a lot and will again face the PCT climbers here, if he is at his best he is a clear favourite for a podium position, Larry Warbasse will be his right-hand man and may even himself target a place in the Top10, higher if Kiserlovski fails his job. Supporting them will be Ole Hirschlein and Carlos Baltazar, who both already had brilliant performances in the high mountains this year, and as it's only one day in the mountains they can score some minimal points if they are up there.
Veteran José Rujano will be here as another pure climber, and the Andorran trio of Oscar Cabanas, Adria Urcelay and Ivan Vila will be looking to support even further, and maybe get into a breakaway.
