That was against the current World Champs  This was against a fairly average Russian side who are somehow lower in the rankings than the Saudis. On the game though, Saudi looked alright until they conceded and then too many stray passes from their CB's and CM's ended up killing them.
And I don't for one second predict that to be the biggest win/loss of the tournament and I hope we see more teams taking the initiative and winning big when they get ahead early!

Yes, awful sound...just like couple other stadium utensil, you see far too often.
On the other hand, Morocco is really playing some nice football, even though it`s "just" against Iran, who are clearly one of the weakest squad this Worlds. |
