Haas has the two most idiot and dangerous drivers on the grid. Magnussen is (not so) slowly gaining himself a race ban if he continues driving like does

Well that is your opinion

Wait what?

Magnussen is pretty good this season. His driving was always aggressive, but eventhough he comes over like a cunt, he isn't one. Grosjean might be whining a lot, but he had some serious bad luck and made some rookie mistakes this season. Obviously he's not happy currently. Both drivers are fine.
Max Verstappen also didn't get a race ban for doing much more stupid driving within the last seasons, so why should KMag?

I like Grosjean's personality but he is a very dangerous driver. I still remember Spa 2012 where he made Alonso retire and lose the title, the year that Alonso performed brilliantly in a pretty bad car compared to Redbull (Mclaren was even faster than Redbull many times but it was extremely unreliable, not to mention the messed pitstops.). (that was a massive crash with 4-5 drivers or so - Grosjean flew over Alonso's head)

Magnussen's personality is arrogant and he is very dangerous on road as well, he pushed Gasly to wall twice in Baku.

Grosjean and Magnussen are 2 of the 3 most dangerous drivers with Verstappen.

Calling a driver CURRENTLY dangerous for a move that was 6 years ago, shouldn't be a thing tbh.

Also saying, that someone ruined someones championship mid-season is also bogus. Alonso ruined it himself on pure driver error in Suzuka.

Err, Suzuka wasn't a pure driver error. I think it was a racing incident and Alonso couldn't have done more imo.

Plus, Grosjean is still driving dangerously. He is still crashing lots of times. Write Grosjean crash on Youtube for examples.

Ricciardo leaves Red Bull and joins Renault in 2019. Maybe Sainz will swap places with him. It’s an odd move, but I don’t think Dani felt real impressed about the Honda engine switch next year. He and Hülkenberg can be two outsiders next year, if the car develops well.

I also think it's to do with not wanting to become second driver to verstappen but the first driver somewhere.

Seems like red bull invested a lot to get verstappen to that level so young and see him as their future leaving ricciardo to either accept becoming a second driver going forward or move on to another team he can lead, and his experience should help Renault out alot in terms of development and getting back towards the title fight.

Word is currently that Gasly will take his spot and Sainz will go to McLaren. Maybe all this can lead to Hartley staying at Toro Rosso?

It's confirmed - Alonso WILL NOT race in F1 in 2019. This increases the chances for Full Time IndyCar move to pursue the Indy 500 win and the illusive Triple Crown

Heading out of Europe are Ferrari about to self destruct again? Weird Quali planning to put Kimi second on the road for the best tow. Only taking one and two sets of the Softs for Vettel + Kimi didn't help, not allowing them to gain any data on those tyres in FP, as well as clearly not getting an ideal race set-up as a result.
We all know what happened at Singapore last season, and it felt similar at T4. Vettel playing too hard with a drive known for not backing down, whilst he's in a losing position Championship wise.
And that's before we get to the Kimi contract situation which could well play a role. If Ferrari annoy the Finn they will lose a key ally against the strong Mercedes duo.

Also Max can f*ck right off. He knows the rules. He knows what he did. His arrogant response demonstrates exactly why he won't win a world title for at least another 5 years. He's a damn child and Red Bull will heavily regret priortising him over Daniel down the line.

Vandoorne to leave McLaren at the end of the season. Lando Norris much?

Aquarius97
And Lando Norris confirmed at McLaren for 2019 to partner with Carlos Sainz.

I hope Vandoorne stays on the grid for next season. You can say that he had not a great career in F1 so far, but if you pair him with a monster like Alonso for 2 years in a very bad car, you can't expect a lot

Word is that Ferrari have opted not to renew Raikkonen’s contract in order to promote Charles Leclerc as their second driver.

Vandoorne had shown absolutely nothing significant to justify his place - sure, Alonso is too big stick to measure with, but to have a 10 race pointless streak with a car which on paper is superior to Toro Rosso, Sauber and Williams, while in that period Ericsson, Hartley and Sirotkin have scored at least one point. And let's talk about qualifying - his last Q2 was in Canada, while Alonso reached Q3 twice. He shares the 4th lowest qualifying position along with Hartley. Also in 14 races Vandoorne has beaten Alonso ZERO times and the average gap is 0,35s.

Compared to Vandoorne's 2017 stats with that dreadful Honda PU, where he earned 13 points whereas Alonso scored 17 while entering a race less, it seems that 2018 was a downgrade for Vandoorne. Alonso has 44 points, which is around 2.5 times improvement on his 2017 tally.

Vandoorne isn't the first, nor the last, who was excelling in lower formulae and came into F1 with all the hype imaginable. While not GP2 champs in their own right, Heikki Kovalainen and Nelson Piquet Jr. were considered big deals - both flattered. Granted they had stiff competition like Rosberg, Hamilton et al, whereas Vandoorne only had Alex Rossi as his chief competition.

I wouldn't be sad if Vandoorne leaves F1 altogether - if you don't deliver, quite frankly it's GAME OVER. But it'd be more sad if Ocon doesn't get seat in 2019

Ocon will get a seat, Mercedes will talk to Williams to keep him in F1. (or in a crazy world force Force India to keep him over Stroll/Perez).

Wouldn't surprise me to see someone in Formula E pick up Stoffel. He's still talented, but not quite enough without major sponsorship backing a la Ericsson, Perez, Stroll.

Apparently Kvyatt is in line to return to Torro Rosso. Maybe Sergio Sette Camara or Alex Ablon to partner. Solid chance Harltey gets another season as well. Red Bulls junior programme doens't have anyone close to ready for F1 yet, given the oldest is 18yo Dan Ticktum who's not even raced F2.

Leaves Haas, sounds like they are also interested in Ocon (if they can him out of Mercedes contract) but could well keep Kevin and Roman.
Williams, don't know. Could well be Ocon + Sirotkin. Rumours are strong for Kubica, again.
Sauber probably holding Ericsson for the money. If Leclerc does go Ferrari, which is more likely than not, there's a seat there i would expect Giovinazzi to take.

Leclerc and Kimi switch places Shock

Ok we kinda knew Leclerc was going Ferrari, but who saw Kimi signing a two-year deal with Sauber? wtf!

Also if anyone is interested, former F1 driver and regular driver steward, Alex Wurz, is racing WRX this weekend in Latvia Wink
