I did the usual of making changes after the criterium - with Sam Bennett being one of the ones I took out then. Ewan, Viviani and Consonni as my main sprinters. Did take out Montaguti unfortunately as he could end up being a worthy 4 point rider.

I actually made a 0.20 € real bet on him today.
But BMC this early season is a total tactical disaster and obviously it wasn`t meant to be. |

Congrats Nathan, Omloop and Di Lego on the podium places, very tight at the top there! Just sneaked into the top 25 - not enough nor the right sprinters here. Back to the drawing board.

Mccarthy cost me 2-300 positions, he eventually blasted his energy in the first kms and no GC rider for me..

Hm, 14th place is a nice start, but had I chosen Ulissi instead of Haas I might have been there in the top-6, didn't have the gut to change but oh well, performed better than I had expected anyway |
