Lachis Editor v32 for PCM 2017 (August, 14)

After unpacking, all files in the main folder show a size of 1kb. Corrupted or unreadable when I try to run it. Anyone else get this? Tried re-downloading a few times. |

That sounds weird, have you tried downloading from both the download section mirror and the official source in Lachi's first post in this thread?

Are you editing your weeklysave or your savegame (found in documents\pcm 17\cloud\username)?

Does it work if you save your edited career with a different name and try to load that one in game, instead?

how do I do this?
but have other problem. when I extract db, i get : there is an erro in tableDYN_cyclist_fitness in the row IDcyclist = 661. the value in the column value_f_prepalastweek has been reset to 0. the corrupt value was -1.#QNAN.
you have to check and fix the data in this row |

Are you using the editor's latest version? It's v32, try downloading the editor again, this problem has been fixed I believe.

@paxok:
You already found out that you have to use "Extract cdb" to extract all the data from the file into my editor.
And at the end you have to use "Export to cdb" to export all the data in the editor back into a cdb file.
Saving and loading is only useful during editing, so that you can pause and continue later.
But the other problem seems to be related to the data not my editor. You have to fix the value as the message said. (Or you can ignore it and hope that it does not break the game) |

gam_user -> fkid_national_duplicate (then choose a different ID from the table dyn_national_team).
You may want to do this before official rider selections start.

I've tried using the editor on two PC's and it just freezes when I try to open a table. I extracted the savegame from docs/pcm etc....cloud/user. Extracts to editor, but can't open anything. Any ideas? Cheers. |

There is a known issue with my editor which is caused by a bug in the data grid I am using. This problem only happens on computers with touch screen and it should display an error. Did you see an error?
Sadly I cannot update the data grid easily so if this is your problem you have to use another editor or another computer.
If this is not your problem, then I need more info to find the problem. Does it freeze for all tables? Try to open some of the STA_... tables. (These tables are smaller). Also you could try to disable the option "Use table lookup". Maybe this helps. |

So... I have a little problems. I've never used Lachis Editor before, but I found that easy to understand. Problem I have is with Exporting/Saving. First of all, saving is not working. Unless it works different than I understand. I can save my work, but when I open db again, it's back to original file, without any changes.
And more difficult problem: Exporting. I can export a db into cdb file. LachisEditor can open that file... But "officially", file doesn't exist. Photos to understand that better: (I've done some testing, that's why it have weird names, also it's just a db copy that I can edit)
What I see in LachisEditor:
What I see in Total Commander and every other things like that/My computer. Files just doesn't exists. They are not hidden.

About saving and loading:
Saving and loading works fine but it is only used for saving and loading your changes while editing.
Example: You edit the name of a rider, then close my editor and save and later you can continue your editing by loading the saved changes. This is faster because exporting to cdb and extracting the cdb takes a while. But after you have finished editing you have to export to cdb so that you can load your changes in the game.
About the missing files:
My editor does not hide any files. Please check if the path is correct.
Something else you can do:
1 - In my editor use "Export to cdb" and save the file to your desktop, giving it a new name.
2 - Use Total Commander and copy it from the desktop to the game folder.
3 - Start the game and select the new cdb file.
4 - Close the game
5 - In Total Commander, check if the file still exists.
If the file is missing, them maybe you use Steam Cloud synchronization which deletes all local files during this synchronization. |
