Here's the review of the Volta ao Algarve, it was a very good race and very special for me, it was the first time I saw it live and seeing my favourite team winning in one of the most iconic climbs in the country, it was certainly special. If you're interested in Portuguese cycling I've done a really passionate work with this race, if you understand I encourage you to read it.

Hey there! It's not the best news I bring you today. There's no better way of saying this so I will just do it right now. As of today I won't be doing any more writing in the site. I'm going to be the most honest possible, this is a project I liked doing and I'm very proud of it, it's the first time I've done something like this and I think it turned out to be good within my possibilities. But there's a difference between liking something and enjoying it, and that is the case here, I was not enjoying writing anymore, it felt completely like an obligation, and my platform was crashing all the time, wich as you can imagine can be quite stressfull and annoying after a full-day at school and studying and taking care of my brother. The fact is that I already had almost no free-time, and I filled the one I had with updating the site the best I could. It was quite hard, and I felt the same thing as I did when I entered a cycling team and competing, the truth is it kills the enjoyment, everything feels like an obligation and I just couldn't relax anytime. And as you can imagine, I just turned 17 and I'm in theory in the "best time of my life", it has been quite a rough and hard life, but I do want to enjoy it the best I can and I am in desperate need of some free time and to discover a new hobby. I will absolutely not stop watching cycling, I will pay as much attention as I already did, and I will continue to do all my stuff related to cycling, I just won't report it as I did the last couple of months. Because in fact cycling is my life and nothing will make the switch go off.
I can't say I wasn't offered some help, but it just wouldn't be the same, this is a project I wanted it to be personal, with my oppinions and points of view, it just wouldn't feel right having somebody else writing for me.
This isn't a very easy choice as I really believe that I could make it work, but the truth is I really had more feedback in the small posts I had here in PCM than with my original (Portuguese) site, and that is something also hard to watch.
Finally I have to say I'll keep myself up to date here, and in fact I do have something prepared for the summer, but only when I enter my vacations and finish the exams, but that's a surprise!
I'm happy with the decision I'm making and I have no regrets over it, I think I made my job well, and there's one article in special I wrote about mechanical doping in wich I actually came in contact with Chad Haga that I was really proud of, I highlight that as the most important thing I wrote, and I really was able to express myself perfectly and share my opinion with people that are actually in the middle of that subject
Well, I guess that's it, I'll keep on lurking in PCM and 'I have my head over the fantasy betting game, I still want to win and I won't stop trying.

Indeed a great job Yellow Jersey! I very much enjoyed reading your sweet little project, eventhough the workload was always going to be hard to keep up alone. But a huge compliment of mine here, being out of boundaries is always the best, so enjoy whatever comes next for you!
And I already can't wait for the surprise

Thanks! It makes me proud to know that I got some people interested in my project, it motivates me. As for the my next project here it is due to June or July, when I have time so I can do it much better.
