Was expecting there to be bigger gaps on that stage, but I guess a stage win, Top 10, 3rd in team GC and 2nd in U25 is still a pretty good result for us in the end.

Yes, muh boy Stefano!!
We saved something from this race with stage win and KOTM jersey, considering Duarte was 11th only.
Thanks for the reports SN. |

Sounds like Valls should have been given 5th spot in the GC at least so that is tough on him but 7th is also a credible performance along with 5th in the Points. Jeannesson and Herrada finishing 14th and 16th in the GC along with Fernandez 3rd in U25 getting the team to 2nd which all means more vital points.

Thanks for the nice reports SN!
Stage win and top 3 in the KoM standings? I'll take this any day really. Great stuff by Rolland!

Congrats on the dominant, and quite surprising win. Marques have always been one of my favorite climbers, and I've tried to sign him numerous times (years back though). Beating the likes of Denifl, Martin, Intxausti and Uran is definately something. And taking the Pointsjersey aswell as 2nd in the KOM is a top result - Great result in terms of surviving the PCT.
Shimano have every right to feel dissapointed here with 3rd and 11th from two top GC guys. They did the same mistake I did in the Tour de France I guess...
I'm hoping to see Coldeportes in the PT after this season. That team have grown on me quite a lot after this season.

Thanks for the reports SN.
3rd in GC is less than what should be possible with Denifl's stats, but to be honest I couldn't expect much more than that. Also with Kiserlovski just outside the top 10 and winning the team classification we scored at least some very much needed ranking points.
But I'm still waiting for the first win of the season. |

We were hoping for the win in that sprint stage but Von Hoff couldn't deliver.
Thanks for the reports SN. Next race should be better

This was a stressful final stage. Marquez comes out as a very well deserved winner. Martin's redemption was quite entertaining too, it would have been better if he was just a couple of seconds slower
Reis was pretty decent securing a top5 here, which is no small feat from him, given the competition. I'm oping that this will serve as a boost for his next challenges.
Congratulations as well on that Pirazzi victory, Miguel
And finally, thanks SN for bringing this beautiful race to us, SN!
