Super good performances by Jesus Herrada and Ion Izaguirre today. They really need to grab those opportunities where Valv and Quintana doesn't ride. Ion for a top-5, at least!
Pretty impressed with Bardet today as well. He didn't quite lose as much time as I expected...
Mediocre perfomance from Contador considering the little hill. He even lost 2 seconds to Majka, not that it probably will matter, but not a good start. |

Great for Matthews. Everybody expected Dumoulin win (he himself admited before stage..that he is not on he's best yet).
Matthews first start at season..and Bang! He is great rider and amazing fighter. I can't forget he's days at Giro with Pink jersey. |
