Tour de Langkawi - Stage 6
GC is settled, now it's time for sprinters.  I won't promise awesome ride by me, but I'll fight for good places!
Typical scenario for flat stage - breakaway rode away peloton and won all sprints - Prazdnovsky, Pinto and Kangert (intermediate sprints) and Vitor (KoM).
As (almost) always, tireless riders were chased by peloton, but this time this group was chased surprisingly near the finish - only 6 km before ! We tried with Marcel to make sprint train, but it was a bit too late...

Bbox made perfect lead-out for their best sprinter - Pichot won the stage after tight finish!

The best chance for me - flat criterium in Kuala Lumpur. I'm feeling good today and I'll try to sprint!
Several riders tried to breakaway today, but...
...there was chased by peloton led by team Bbox 23.5 km before finish.
Patrick and Marcel were feeling very good today and there were had begun making sprint train 7 km before finish. It looks optimistic!! 
4 km before finish there were happened few crashes in front of peloton. Bertogliati and Pinho took part in the most brutal and spectacular one.
Some riders were confused, so Marcel and me decided to start finish lead-out. Marcel had amazing performance, we developed big advantage above the rest! 
Unfortunately Gianni and Visconti are about to overtake me, will I keep the pace?

Well, 80% stages will be flat, but as you can see at stage profiles, it won't be easy race. My objectives? Top 10 in points classification and top 5 (at least) at one of stages. |

Giro di Sardegna - Stage 1
Flat stage with last mountain bonus 20 km before finish, so there's a chance for breakaway, but I hope we'll see sprinters fight at the finish!
Team Roster & Startlist:
Interestingly, there wasn't formed any permanent breakaway. Patrick took the opportunity and won two mountain sprints (unfortunately Visconti was faster at the last one), so he will ride in KoM classification leader jersey next day! Well done, Patrick!
This time peloton wasn't busy by chasing breakaway and could calmly preparing for the final sprint. We are at good position!
1 km remaining and I'm behind Rossi. Will I win today?

No!!! Rossi and Szczawiński were faster, I finished at 3rd place, there isn't bad result I'm also leader of U-25 classification!

Giro di Sardegna - Stage 2
First 100 kms of the stage will be boring, but after that there will be a lot of dangerous climbs. I shouldn't except brilliant result today 
Breakaway with 15 riders shared points from first two mountain sprints - first for Andriotto, second for Sokoll. Breakaway riders were chased by peloton before third climb.
Some riders (include Rubiano, Champion, Bernucci, Visconti and Bakelants) attacked at the third climb. Bakelants by the way won the last mountain sprints.

Giro di Sardegna - Stage 3
Hard hilly stage, but my shape is higher and higher after every stage (89 pts). I'll fight for win!
16 riders rode in morning breakaway, but that group was chased before first climbs. Gretsch after attack from peloton won first KoM bonus and he was virtual leader of this classification.
Unfortunately for Patrick, Bakelants (KoM classification leader) won second bonus and he regained the lead. While leader of team Topsport attacked at downhill, Champion set off in pursuit.
Some dangerous riders attacked at last, not rewarded climb, so I decided to chase them with Marcel. At downhills has been formed group with 13 riders ( include Rossi (the most dangerous sprinter), Bakelants, Visconti, Rubiano and Champion). I lost a lot of stamina for chasing them, but 3.2 km before finish....
...I took a chance and attacked solo!!!
There are near, but it's only 1 km to finish! I'm going to win it!

Giro di Sardegna - Stage 4
After amazing yesterday's win I have one mission today - I want to keep the green jersey!
Today's KoM bonus for De Gendt (Topsport), who attacked before the bonus.
Let's move one to the decisive moments of the stage - Gretsch and Kittel were working and following Acqua & Sapone sprint train - it was good decision? Let's see!
Rossi is at the best position, I must accerlate!

And he won! I finished at 6th position, it isn't bad place, but I lost my green jersey

I must defeat Rossi - I have only one point loss to him. Keep your fingers crossed!!
Visconti, the most active rider of this race so far, won two KoM sprints. Gretsch was second at the first one and he secured the podium place of KoM classification. Good ride, Patrick!
Unflagging Kittel is working hard, unfortunately I'm not in top form after hellish Stage 4. but I'll fight!

Flat one-day race in Italy. I'm rested after last race and I hope I'll have possibility to fight for win!!
Team Roster & Startlist:
After the start it has been formed breakaway with 16 riders, include Kangert, Pinotti and Trofimov. 40 km before finish group had advantage 2'00 ahead peloton.
5.3 km before final sprint peloton caught weakening breakaway and finally we could begin preparing for the sprint with great lead-out train - Gretsch-Kittel-me.
We're at great position, Marcel finished his great lead-out and now it's time for me!
