Oh, thank the lord!
We totally ignored the GC in this one, since I couldn't find much utility in sending Machado here, so we were all-in on the flat stages.
Stage 2 brought some agonizing memories, but thankfully Stage 3 tumbled on our side. And there's still stage 5 to race so there's margin for improving our performance here.
Anyway, tomorrow come the mountains. It's going to be interesting. Thanks for the reports tsmoha (for the countless time )

Awang getting a top 10 is a great result for him as I'm sure that's about all I can expect from him when he remembers to sprint. PCT is too had competition for him considering he struggled enough at CT last season.
Hopefully we can get involved in the break on the next stage.

Nice to see Avelino get a win after a few fails this season. Also pleased to see Bennett sprinting strongly on Stage 2.

^ Yes siree bob there is no catching out SN!
Another great sprint from Mansilla, great to see him mixing it up in his first real race. Navarette does super to keep Contador out of trouble. Not going to lie the omens are looking good for us here.
Thanks again tsmo. |

Demare so easily the fastest that it hurts.
Good prologue from Nerz, decent second stage too. Now for the important bit.

What a shit stage...why is Keizer underperforming that much recently...once more a bad performance, where he never was supposed to be behind Lövkivst/Valls...
It`s top5 goal here, so he better does a bit more on the next mountain stage. Unfortunately PCM decides to not really use Olivier/Aru as mountain train helpers.
That those two are really crap as well, I don`t really have to stress I guess... |

Well, that's not too good, is it? Nepomnyachsniy probably finished where his stats would also place him more or less, but losing 1 min 30 is a bit much to make up for in the TTT. At least no one finished out of the time limit, which wou;d've made the task pretty impossible.

What an actual fuck? How did Pedraza fell from the leading group to the peloton? |

Didn't see a 6 man group finishing together, but there we go. Have to be pleased that Contador made it after starting a ways back.
We could take '23 in the TTT but hopefully Contador can drop the in form Abal on the remaining mountain stage. Exciting GC brewing here. |

Wow, Lövkvist must had a great day would be awesome if he could hang on to a top 5.
But Cort-Nielsen/Bjelkmark should have done better and get into top 30 at least. |

Valls with a good stage there but he needs to gain more time!
Herrada looked good for a short while helping Valls which is a positive sign.

Now we are out of touch on GC one of my riders might decide that the break sounds like a good option, it's about our only chance of getting something out of this race so I've got to hope.

Disgusting. Simply disgusting. Should've sent the training money to Greece instead, that would've had more effect.

Nice to see Jang to get into the break.
Sella going through a low form time span but luckily just hanging on to the first group. Some bonus seconds would have been nice but for now I'm happy he could stay with the other favourites. I hope he'll improve a little on the next mountain stage to secure a GC top 5. Kiserlovski below expectations on this stage but still with a shot at a top 10. |

VDB must have heard me complaining about him because he is suddenly doing even better than I hoped for. A podium place here would be a huge result if he can hold on to it.
