Hmm we need dishcloth to wipe our screens from roturn literally blowing his load all over the internet after that sprint. Freddie Krueger gets the win, boy Avelino is dog shit.

Yes yes yes.
3 years talent development and now he delivers! Greatest win.
Had hoped for a sprint win here when selecting the race. When seeing Avelino and Keukeleire I did not expect this though.
3 in top 5 of U23 shows my squad here.
Also another breakaway. Great race so far and perfect answer after the Down Under Classic. |

Not very happy with Kip's sprinting so far.I hope at the third stage he'll do better and from then on it's all about Sella for me. |

Bouhanni this time with a podium which certainly isn't disappointing. Another great lead out from Reza and Anton Martin which is a very positive sign for the sprints this season. Hope he can stay leader for one more stage!

Congrats roturn. Nice to see your own talent get a win.
I'm a bit pissed off that Keukeleire got boxed in. It sounds like he could have won this.

Cardoso better than Rizza.
Now, bring on Rujano's turf! |

Polivoda finds a really good wheel, decides to not sprint after all. Great decision once again
Krasnoperov safe in the pack, low FL doesn't hyrt him yet as it seems.

Thanks for the reports so far Alak.
Missing the top 5 closely this time. But a win and two top10 is a great start. Now the GC stages.
Keukeleire to take stage 5 and everyone is happy I think. Fair sharing then.
Breakaway team. hopefully once more they can be successful later on. |

I think it would be unfair to be disappointed with Bouhanni here so far. 1st, 2nd and 3rd is pretty good. The lead outs have been outstanding but unfortunately that 77ACC stat is hurting Nacer a bit.

Aha Avelino responds to doggie doo-doo comment. Three stages and finally Prio Porto get it right - Bouhanni though the best of the sprinters on the three days of flat frigging around - bring on the real reason for coming to Venezuala - mountains - I say.
Just noted another Red Bull alumni in Haider Anuawar is here - a former stage winner at Tachira his one defining moment under Red Bull colours. Yeah even we managed to get a sprint train going out here. Of course he has got left behind now with the marginal MG gains.
Freddy Kreuger no good here maybe he too is one shot wonder?

Deal! Make it happen Alak.
Can't complain about the results of the first few stages. Thanks for the reports so far.

Quiet stage for the Minions, hoping we'll see more of them in the next stages

SanCor anywhere now. Gratz, Ian.
Iirc, this stage also went to a breakaway last year (Matty Lloyd?).. Dunno Barredo stats, but I guess he will struggle in the tougher mountains. Nazaret with a strong sprint, a sign of what to come?
