@ to the three on the previous page, I´m sure we will take in the transfer period
Well atleast B-World Champion.
When we though the real action was over for Swedbank-PEAB this season Thomas Löfkvist showed that his great ride in ToA was not just a fluke.
Sweden was one of the most active team in the race and our own Max Öste-Macdonald was one of the guys who tried his luck with a breakawa but that got reeled in.
After that Löfkvist was alert and reeled in another breakaway try from Ji.
Then he just sat and checked his rivals but then with 2.3 km left he attack with an well timed attack and got a gap that he could contain all the way to the finish line!
Sweet, sweet win! Some beautiful pictures below.

Out of nowhere both Swedbank & PEAB had decided to stop sponsoring the team.
For the management this comes as a shock especially since the biggest Swedish talent most likely have taken another big step in his carrier to the next season and will fight for more glory and Thomas Löfkvist won the B World champion this season.
But it didn´t take long before a new sponsor was clear, all paperwork ain´t 100% done yet so they are not clear to be officially confirmed yet but it´s Swedish companies who will sponsor the team next season as well.
I´m sure atleast one of the sponsors have something for everyone to like, even if everybody have different taste... |

No more Swedbank! This is a big step.
Like that you stay Swedish though. As you say, with the two biggest Swedish stars, one veteran, one talent, you should get a nice sponsoring as well. |

Surprising move! But just like roturn, I'm happy you stay Swedish. Making another country your main priority wouldn't make much sense considering Ahlstrand's development as well
Will we see Ikea back in the MG? At least they were part of huge success last time being involved, so they must fancy a comeback. Definitely looking forward to see what you've decided on! |

@ember & Avin.
Unfortunately both Volvo & IKEA was not that interested in sponsoring our team when they realized we were in the PCT and not Pro Tour.
So we had to settle with companies with less revenue but both companies and especially one of them are getting bigger and bigger for every year.
And hopefully both the team and that company can grow together.
Later this evening both the companies and the offical jersey will be released!
See ya later! |

Say hello to Spotify - Haglöfs.
After the shocking statement from Swedbank & PEAB that they ending their sponsorship with us we had some work to get new sponsors and we are happy to say that Spotify and Haglöfs will be our main sponsors to the next season.
Spotify is a Swedish multinational company with an online music streaming service.
It was founded in 2006 and has increased sales every year since then.
Haglöfs is an Swedish company in the outdoor business and they manufactures outdoor clothes such as jackets and backpacks for outdoorlife and its been doing that since 1914.
And here is the jersey:
Thanks to bwiggins for a great job with our jersey for the next season.
After the NC we will realese our NC jerseys and the beautiful B-Worlds jersey. |

Very cool jersey, nice work bwiggins! Should be a stand out one in the PCT peloton.
I dont use Spotify, but know what it is, surely a growing brand and service, which will make a nice sponsor for developing cycling project. Good luck in new colours Viking!

As mentioned earlier Thomas Löfkvist won the B world champions and will therefore ride in a special jersey next season.
We have also managed to win some NCs this time around, we took the double in Norway. Havard Blikra won the RR and Phan Age Haugard won the ITT.
Theo Eltink is the new dutch RR champions but both we and him are quite sure he won´t ride with us the next season so no NC jersey for him in this team.
Last we could not win our most important race the RR in Sweden where Stevenson won from a break. A little comfort for us was when Löfkvist managed to win in the ITT.
So here are our champion jerseys for the next season.
B-World champion jersey will be on Thomas Löfkvist:
Norwegian NC jerseys, Havard Blikra & Phan Age Haugard.
Swedish NC ITT jersey, Thomas Löfkvist.
Thanks for great work with those jerseys, bwiggins.
And Merry Christmas to all of you! |
