Nice signings... Pluchkin on a massive wage, but I do think you have a decent, and well rounded team, so it might be enough to stay clear - and that really is all you need, because of the way the talents are coming along, combined with the fact that Pluchkin will go down in wages next season.
Thanks SotD, i hope your observations are right. Season 2015 is all about avoiding relegation for us, at least that is the plan.
Next two signings are almost finalised and you will have a chance to see their presentation in few hours time. These two should put us even more into "well rounded team" category.

Do you realize that Plushkin's wage is almost as much as my entire team budget?
Having said that, congrats on the signing. I really do hope he's worth his money |

Gratz Avin to the successful bid! Winning Vuelta or Giro and avoiding relegation, strange combination of goals.

Thanks guys!
@Ian: i know, it is terrible when you look at it like that, but i was ready to pay that price. Lets hope it will pay off.
@Shonak: As we had to choose a standing goal and hoped for arrival of Pluchkin, those goals seemed most logical, despite being very hard. But to be realistic, i dont count with better than 3/5 goals. And you can have a GT winner material and still fight around 20th place and lower, Santander stands as example iirc.
@alexkr00: Lets hope so, maybe these two guys coming can help us?
We can ride cobblestones !?
Cobbled roads, northern classics. That is something, that has been terra incognita for Metinvest teams since the beginning of this cycling project. With bright exception of Antonio Bucciero, back in old D2 days, there was no rider who could aim for top25 in the cobbled continental race. It would seem crazy to try to change that fact with promotion to PT.
But we did it.
We have a great pleasure to introduce two latest signings, most likely one of the last moves during actual transfer season. Yeah, we were fast and fourious.
Frederik Nolf - 900,000 Euros. Wage:131,000
Frederik is an experienced, 28 years old cobbler coming from PT top team Pokerstars, where he served in recent years as the luxury domestique for legendary Tom Boonen. He should become our leader for the cobbled races, in duo with the second guy coming and that is...
Michel Sibilla - 800,000 Euros. Wage:120,000
Michel, age 27, joins us from the norwegian team AKER-MOT and he is again an experienced PT northern specialist, who should be a right hand to Nolf in all cobbled races across the calendar.
We are happy to have these guys on board, after fluent negotiations with two reasonable and friendly managers. We dont expect wins or podiums at PT level from our two headed monster, but they could be another piece in the "survive in PT" puzzle for us.

Nolf is Belgian.
Also, I seriously hope for you that PCM doesn't recognize Sibilla as the captain.

Because Nolf is actually stronger rider, thanks to suport stats, even when he is -1COB. So if PCM will set Sibilla as the leader and he will suck, there is a possibility that Nolf will stay with him, instead of going for his own result. But PCM is always a risk, so we will see...
You will learn two major things in man-game Ian.
1. How to hate the PCM AI.
2. Fact that you still cant hate it more than Avin does.

Didn't I read somewhere that The AI handles two leaders better this year? That could be a saving grace for you but it's very risky sticking Sibilla with Nolf IMO |

But won't it be played in PCM14? It's a really solid game imo.

I hope it is at least better than PCM13, or i will have a hard time. But thanks guys for ruining my good feeling about the running transfer season.

Imo, PCM wasn't that bad in handling two leaders in such cases like cobbles. I've seen two riders attacking per team, for example. And the 'natural selection' on cobbles will see those two surviving in front groups anyway.
No need for wrong feelings, imo

Didn't mean to be a downer the opposite in fact was pointing out that PCM14 handled double leaders better |

Three chrono men joining!
During last week of the transfer season we were looking to improve our TTT lineup, something that was always our trademark. Last year we were smashed in this department by certain Ozzie powerhouse and while it could be pretty well the case once more, we want to be competitive with other PT squads in this discipline.
With two founding stones of TTT lineup in persons of beast Ignatiev and wonderkid Zmorka, we added three more pieces now, here they are:
Vojtěch Hačecký: 50k wage, 4.73XP, 75TT, 72flat, 70/75 sprint
Vojtěch is coming from free agency for just 50k wage and is only our third FA signing of the season. We are very happy to secure his services for just a minimum wage, as Vojtěch is pretty all around guy, who can be used as TT force and lead-out man for our fast guys Grosu and Guardini. Best thing is, that he still has some room for improvement.
Kristof Goddaert: 65k wage, 76TT, 72flat, 68 COB
Kristof is our last FA signing and as the experienced rider, he should either help Nolf and Sibilla during first parts of cobbled races, or become important part of our TTT lineups in year 2015. Kristof is our second belgian signing of the year, something that never happened before iin Metinvest!
RIP Kristof, your memory still lives here!
Steven Burke: 50k wage, 76TT, 74flat
Steven was signed from our friends at Good Energy team and while he is our first ever british rider to be signed, we are happy to have him on board. As the other two guys listed, his main goal is to complete our TTT squad and ride the tempo on the flat in biggest races on the PT calendar.
That completes presentation of permanent moves we made on the market this year, so now we only have to present you our loanees from the other teams, that will strengten depth of our team. More on that coming soon!

Nice additions! The Hacecky brothers (I guess, they are?) are both interesting helpers. Had just the other one on my list of possible targets, but I will keep tracking both over the upcoming season

Nice TTT line up you have here! The 3 TT boys are nice additions as they are good helpers on flat roads too.
I like the thing about MG where we have deceased riders kept. Helps their memory live on somehow.
