Wow. You're doing a great job this transfer season
Like those cobbled riders! They are in no way whatsoever competition to my non-cobbled team so keep them coming |

Amazing signings.
I was really really tempted to go for De Backer(I can use a cobbled domestique after all, especially one who can sprint), noticed him still being low early in the evening, but I let him go.
Hope he does well for you

Thanks everyone. In EPIC and ICL I have teams that are in no way involved in cobbled races so I really wanted to at least some riders for it this time around. Glad it worked out.

Some great signings for Strava so far. I hope the cobbled focus works for you more than it did for the teams who focused on cobbles last season. A risky strategy but it could pay off big time. |

Well last time the field was really open.
I think with this duo, Shonak would always be a favourite which could actually pay off.

lol stop hyping them Jesleyh, I already see them fail!
@The Rider: Bunch of cobbled races in C1 & C2 so it's worth the focus hopefully in the end but of course once the big guns come around we won't have much of a chance.
@viking90: Thanks it's a start. Still need to some riders though.
@Ian: Whom who does not push the boundries will fall behind. So, innovation is key. Or smthg like that.
I'm pissed off that Vienna isn't part of the project grr!

Wow. Those signings are awesome! Last season you'd have easily dominated all cobbled races with them. But this year you'll have to compete against Bakari...

I'm no stranger to the legend of Bakari but that's mostly because of SN playing him in Ian's Cyclo-Cross. Don't think there could have been any better place for Bakari to end up than at Hobbit's team when you keep Cervero in mind.

Hardly a day goes by without some recent transfers news. Sometimes it's bad news, occassionaly we can be happy. That's then when a rider signs with us. Obviously. So as it comes, we can announce three more transfers.
Christoph Pfingstenm, 28
Pfingsten joins us a free agent and frankly, we don't know why the cyclo-cross rider hasn't got a contract to the road last year. His versatility makes him a great domestique for all sorts of terrain, plus he isn't afraid to try something on his own. Solid help should be provided by him in hilly, punchy and paved races. Whilst in no regard outstanding, his many little green fields in the low 70 area make him a viable option for CT. Plus he isn't too shabby in TTs so if we should ever grow into a TTT team, he'll have a place.
Key Stats: HL 72, TT 73, PRL 74
Angelo Tulik, 25
A young frenchmen joining us from Free Agency. Much like Pfingsten is job will be primarily to support his mates in the one-day classics and stage races that are up ahead. He is very weak in TTs, but he can certainly stand his own on hillier breakaway stages, where he has good options to win the BOTD sprint.
Key stats: FL 72, HL 72, SP 73
Ido Zilberstein, 22
After Sauber took our main talent Gregor Muhlberger away at 70k and we wern't willing to pay that much for a talent yet, we were searching for another guy to fill the ranks. You see, we at Strava really like us some talents and we feel that cyling is always a bit about development as well. With the lack of fresh new talent of course one had to scour a bit, but we found one and it's Ido Zilberstein. He has some solid stats already but there's still plenty to learn. For now the young Israeli can make his presence felt in some occassional breakaways but will be mostly carrying bottles throughout the day. We feel the youngster can turn into a bit of a breakaway specialist with a hard finishing punch.
Key Stats: FL 68, SP 69, ACC 70
So that's it already for today. We've now assembled 8 riders, so there's still lots of work to do but fortunately we still have more than a week to go. No need to rush after all.

Pfingsten is a nice addition. I considered him a lot after I actually suggested him.
This might have been the reason, why there was no MG team in 2014. He just wasn`t in the DB. |

Pfingsten looks like a cool allrounder. If he would be in the DB already last season then he could have been an option for me as well.

Another day of transfers news here at Strava HQ as we are quickly building up the team. Sometimes, you end up with a team much different than you've initially thought. But you follow the transfer road and see where it takes you. Today we present you the Castelli crowd. Our italian jersey sponsor Castelli must be really pleased with those signings, at least we are certainly.
Marco Canola, 27
Joining us from Free Agency, Marco Canola is a typical italian fast men. With his punch for the climbs, he's able to survive the peloton's pace and win a reduced sprint. Alternatively he can be used as a leadout, or - try his luck on his own in a break of the day. Canola brings endless options of riding to the table and he is a signing we are very satisfied with.
Key Stats: HL 73, SP 75, ACC 76
Elia Favilli, 26
He didn't came the easy way and his wage certainly is for our taste a bit too high, but after a while in contract negotiations we knew that we wanted him in our team. With his climbing and fast finishing, he's an ideal puncheur-sprinter type for the team. We've seen in EPIC how ferocious those type of guys can be, we hope Favilli will be just that in the Continental Tour. With now clear race schedulded goals for him, we simply hope he is able to score as many points as possible to let us finish high on the season table. Remarkable is his outstanding Recovery, which should usually make him an unbelieveable asset in the third week of a Grand Tour. Unfortunately, Strava won't be riding any Grand Tours, but maybe this advantage can come into play in some of the smaller stage races as well.
Key Stats: HL 75, SP 76, REC 82
Mirko Selvaggi, 30
Selvaggi is an allrouder if you have ever seen one. He's capable of climbing both mountains and hills, can pace you on good tarmac and pavé and certainly likes some time in the BOTD as well. Only his abysmal finishing qualities keep him from being a true jack of all trades, but you can't wish for everything.
Key Stats: MT 72, HL 73, CBS 73
@nacho: Yeah indeed, I soon noticed that I wouldn't be happy concentrating on USA or Australia, so... in turn I more or less ignored them

Favilli is a really huge signing for you! He can score you a lot of points and Canola and Selvaggi are fine riders as well.
This is definitly one of the better CT teams..

My favourite CT team I think! My candidate for the top spot (I think, we'll see after transfers). I thought you might go for American focus with Strava and all, but it's also apt to go international with such a sponsor. With this squad you'll win a lot of stages and classics me thinks.
