He probably means the team presentation. So I guess some date between 9th and 11th March, where the race starts. |

So much regarding the MPCC...
His schedule will be Pais Vasco, Ardennes Week, Romandie, Giro...

When is the Tirreno presentation, incidentally?

Can it be anything else than Contador announcing his retirement after the season or a contract extension?
Brailsford is actually a secret Russian spy working for Tinkoff to check on the 'training methods' of the opposition and reveals all in a dramatic speech?
The UCI will be abolished?
Confirmation of Rojas winning something the other day?
My head is spinning with the possibilities...

Tinkoff will buy any other decent GC rider so that Contador can win all 3 GTs in the same year.

Interesting article on the talent in Spain. In that perspective, it should be an interesting Giro with Herrada, Izaguirre, Lobato, Fernandez and to a certain extent Intxausti. |

Nah, this is clearly about Contador going for the points jersey at Tour while Sagan will just go for yellow.

Unfortunately, due to Quintana's crash in the final metres of Columbias road race, he wont participate in Andalucia. Apparantly he has got some bruises, but it shouldnt be any serious.. Still, it probably will affect his preparation for T-A which is a shame. |

Very interesting article on how Martyn Ashton, famous from things like Road Bike Party, copes with being paralysed. Well worth a read. https://www.stickybottle.com/blogs/leg...paralysis/

A great shame indeed, was greatly looking forward to the Froome-Contador-Quintana battle in Andalucia. Hopefully Nairito can recover in time for T-A though, will be a tough race with what looks like a very packed startlist.

that's the "official" version...
I don't know if its true, an injuried rider won't climb something like Alto de Letras (for mor info, click here https://www.alpsan...q=letras), as he did this week for training, he is also training daily for 4-5 hours, an injured rider hardly rides a bike...
Letras

Here the news report, in spanish, about his visit in Manizales during this week https://www.nuevoe...anas-32308
And finally, his words about the terrible 83 kms climb to Letras https://www.youtu...aZTU#t=295
You should really read the alpsandes article about Letras, you will really enjoy it

This is quite a sum he is supposed to pay over the next two years.

At least that is better than by the end of this season..
I just sat and wondered: Lets say he wins the Giro and the Tour. Wouldnt he then pursue the Vuelta victory as well? Would be legendary.
kadta: Glad to hear that. Thanks. |

For him it's important to retire on the top. If he still feel like he's able to win a Grand Tour by the age of 34, I'm sure he'll continue. For now, I'll just enjoy next two years of seeing him ride.

It seems like it just disappeared, but I swear that I just saw an article on Cyclingnews stating that Cadel made Euro 1.7 million last year (converting from the AUD figure given). Anyone know of any good resource for salaries at the moment? The figures I have in my head (1.5-2.5 mil for top 10-15 names, 200-500k for good quality PT riders, etc.) are from a few years ago at this point, and if cycling is anything like any other uncapped sport, I presume those have increased at least somewhat. I mean, I know the sport isn't doing as peachy economics wise as some, but it has rebounded from the 2009-2011 era.

I believe Sagan is said to be making like 3-4 millions per year in Tinkoff with his new contract?
