Beta v0.3.0 Update
Download Here!
Changes:-
- Fully stat'd PCT Division
- Minor changes to some WT stats
- Some minor name/spelling changes
Basically a stats update but it means this DB now includes stats for all UCI registered Pro Womens Teams! Fully stat'd WT and PCT divisions make the gameplay a lot better as you'd expect.
I've used PCS and what knowledge i have for stats. Some riders just don't have results that i could find so are really weak, and some are a bit stronger due to personal bias. I won't hide that, but i'm primarily making this DB for me at this point.
All stats are for 2014 not 2015. Some riders have improved for this season and this is not reflected in their stats because this is a 2014 based DB.
Next task is to get all WT and PCT teams with the correct jerseys. There is a 0.3.1 update in the works already with a couple of CT division jerseys and the Servetto jersey i just keep forgetting. Plus CT stating.
As always please let me know of an issues and i'll add it to my fix list. I have spotted Charlotte Becker has gone back to being British rather than German, no idea why but i will be fixed in 0.3.1.

Great DB! I love women's cycling) Thanks, but I re-edited it with fresh photos, and transfers for Orica, Wiggle and Rabobank. Played some stages mountains, cool results)

this database looks very nice, only thing is.
that pcmfocus is creating one too, with over 100 new real stages,
like the women´s tour of new zealand, which was my job .
so i hope that this works out well too, with that concurentie |

Just wondering what's your reason to give the stats the "men" matrix. Woman races are a lot shorter so also the stats have to be lower right? |

Why would the stats have to be compared to the mens sport? The women don't race against the men, they race against other women. And it's not the "men matrix" it's the PCM matrix.
In a women only DB like this it makes sense to use the whole range of stats from 50 to 85 just like you would use for a mens DB. The reference points are their own results, not the mens.
The stats i've got give some great results that do a nice job of imitating real world results.
Womens races are shorter than Mens races. However as you might notice in this version of the DB, i don't have any womens races. With courses that range from 50km to 298km making the full use of STA is a great way to help get realisitc results just like we would do for men. Womens race still vary in length and various riders are better in longer races whilst others are better at crits. This gives me enough information to extend the STA stat to the fully available range. If the only races i had in the DB were the full womens calendar which doesn't normal go over 140km in length, then yes i'd change the STA stat because of how it works in PCM and not kicking in at that distance.
If you are making a DB with both men and women in it then sure you can lower the women relative to the men. Otherwise i'd think it's a completely idiotic idea because it's not how DB's are made, because it's not how PCM works and ultimately it's a f*cking dick move that shows a basic misunderstanding or disrespect of the womens sport.

I actually think PCM is better fitted to women's cycling than men's cycling
Except for how the riders look, of course.
Never had many mass sprints in the Ardennes in PCM. Last couple of years in men's racing, yes.
Solo attacks grow rarer and rarer, though not really in women's cycling and PCM.
So perfect match.
And, yes, would be extremely silly not to use the 50 - 85 window available.
EDIT: Surely Jolien d'Hoore deserves a (minor) upgrade given her last few months?

If this were a 2015 DB then yes she would get an upgrade, however it's 2014 so she's about correct for that in my eyes.
