CSC scoring well? No me gusta!
Fantastic pace of reporting SN. Shame about the ridiculous AI though. |

So Compal and Allianz gain more than expected, Mobil less...
Also, new PCM please.

Would have liked the win but Cobo makes up for that.
Great stage for the team. Not so much for PCM AI.

This game...
Massive thanks for all the reporting you are doing though SN. Was shocked to see stage 17 of the Giro already alongside this.

report made me laugh - peloton not even sprinting pathetic Can sense reporters disbelief!
This year Tour of Japan perhaps not so great with the breakaway dominant pcm13 showing its head.
Great work as always SN - thanks so much for the shift here and at the giro.

Odd race so far. But nice to see Sauber enjoy some success.

Not sure what to say about this race. At least the top 10 of Gerdemann seems secured

That was a weird stage, I'm surprised it was left to us as I thought Saggiorato would have been dropped if the top riders worked today.
Anyway I can't believe how strong Schurter looked today, it's almost a shame I didn't get to see what he would have done today working for himself although I really couldn't have asked for a better domestique for Saggiorato.
Now with just a flat stage to go we should be safe with the jersey and hopefully this performance and the points that go with it can help to kickstart our season.

Ow well, my worries came true. I guess i can take this as a 'moral' podium. It isn't really helping us with promotion though, as we went down to 5th place. That said, Ulissi has most of his race days left.

Thanks for the great pace of reports SN, you came back with a storm of reports!
Shame that PCM does not help the good overall feeling. But this time, terrible AI helped us to achieve 15th in GC for now with our bunch of second tier of leaders, nice job from Grygorenko. At least some points from our weakest lineup of the year, pretty funny that it scored better than some stronger ones this year.

Okay, this stage over exceeded all my expectations to this race. Excellent breakaway win from Zeits and an amazing 4th GC now.
We we're really hoping to achieve our top 10 goal in Tour of Japan, but I sort of gave it up quite early. If nothing extraordinary happens in the last stage, this will be Armavia/Compal's first ever achieved goal!!
(Watch me jinx this as the peloton breaks up due to heavy side wind on the last stage and Zeits loses over 8 minutes in the end.)

Impressive win, and should help the points out a bit, but still should have taken more from this race.

I was a little surprised he wasn't given a time gap to the field, the way the rest of the race has gone it would have been a fitting end to the mad AI to have the stage winner sprint to a time gap.
Still it was a great and unexpected result for us and those points will be a big boost to the side as we've not been scoring very well in general.
