A strange one there with the wind seemingly effecting the sprint.
Anonymous from my lot but then I have no-one of significance here so it would selfish of me to expect something to happen.
Pokerstars continue to get some nice hits really.

Lead safely defended, job done for the stage. A nice 8th for Feillu too, amongst the lottery.

I guess I will never get a sprinter again in my team, never have managed to get them really good. Ok, the stages were very hilly for Bennati but still, I guess this is the last season with a 80+ sprinter.

Very pleased the breakaway stayed away there. Thought the stages looked too hilly to be really suitable for the pure sprinters, and thus vulnerable to Phinney/EBH bonus seconds, and that would have been if not for the break. Race lead kept once again.

Agony for those with sprinters but almost amazing for De Bie - fantastic day out for the future star - a shame he got jumped in the sprint there - but a great result to get second. It places him 19th on GC... so well lets see.

Not the result I was hoping for. But we are still in strong position in GC, Point and KOM classification. Even together with Wikipedia we could lead team competition, if Kluge wouldn´t wait for Mohs.
Thanks for fast and quality reporting!

That's a beauty! Brilliant to see Bystrøm win that stage, and Boasson Hagen following up with 6th place makes it a perfect one for us.
Phinney is looking solid for the GC (again), being up there on flat stage as well, a shame he got the better of Boasson Hagen thinking of leading the points competition
And thanks for another report, Sykkel_Freak. |

Nice to see other Velits' rivals getting no time bonuses from these stages so far. Decent result by Sagan as well, I can't wait making him a beast for stages like this in the future...

Keizer really doing well here. Nizzolo a bit unlucky in those stages. |

Yet more of the same and delighted to see my team get a good guy in the break, unfortunately bob ridge was one rider who was too strong for the others it seems. Margaliot is not racing much this year so nice for him to get TV time.
Moving into more decisive territory. Utter dejection I imagine for sprinters teams.

Weird stuff from AI. Congrats to tsmoha, guess that makes up for the frustrating first four stages
As expected from our riders, just cross fingers Boasson Hagen can pull of a surprise in the TT now, performing above his level. |

Thanks, guys!
Well... Always cool to win a stage, especially on this level. Kinda weird stuff though, the sprinter teams just don't get the things working. Looking at Gossy's results in those sprints, i'm happy with our best rider making it into the breakaway and attacking right in time

Quite a pity for Nizzolo who can't really go for his chance here.
But nice to see that Olivier was the break and takes 7th here and Keizer without problems. Now a strong tt where hill stat hopefully does not count that much. |

Leading into the TT is what I needed. To still be in the Top 5 after the TT will take a great ride for Schleck, but he can hopefully stay close to Roche and EBH - then do better than both on the Mountain stage.
Hard to see past Phinney/Gesink/Velits on the podium for GC.

That was cool to see Bobridge win!
At least we got a second place to take out of this race. I'm looking forward to see what Goncalves can do in the TT. It's a bummer that he lost time in the split the other day because I was thinking he could get lucky and crack the top ten.
