This Browns defense is scary. If Hoyer keeps progressing and Gordon is back after 10, permission to dream of playoffs?

NFL does a good job of selecting TNF games... NOT..
28-0 Atlanta early in the second.

I would like to see Tampa upset Pittsburgh next week
Oakland was this bad last year, Houston wasn't that bad imo they just had bad luck.

Honestly, and I'm probably being too much of an optimist here (watch the texans lose 14 fucking straight games again ), we could turn out something like Kansas City last year. Obviously not as many wins, but a mediocre team given a bad schedule really does wonders

Or you could be like Miami and beat the good teams and lose to the bad teams..
Unless, of course, Buffalo is the real deal this year

Buffalo is the real deal. Pretty solid defense (I think Top 5) and Manuel is doing pretty well this year. Plus theres Spiller and Jackson and the receivers and TE's are good as well. A darkhorse for me.

I would tend to agree. Buffalo and EJ Manuel just get less attention compared to some of the other young QBs, so it's easy to write them off (from a national standpoint).

Your team could've had so much potential had you guys drafted Bridgewater instead of playing Harvard. |

It is just hard to see them as the real deal as they always tend to break down later in the year. That makes me a bit happier then.. Miami may still be off to a 3-1 start if everything goes right, second behind... Buffalo? Who would have thought a wild card situation is because of Buff and not NE.

It might look even worse if Clowney develops to be an injury-prone player. I was always a proponent of trading down that No.1 pick though.

Yeah...let's not write the Pats off just yet.
Also, highlight of the game:

NFL games should have a 50 point mercy rule. The Bucs do not even want to be in this game right now..

Leinster Rugby already won this week after J. Jones' 28 point performance.
Devin Hester is also being a beast tonight. I would take out M. Ryan just so he does not get hurt and the backup gets practice.
EDIT: As a say this, they put Yates in QB.

Browns record so far is pretty good even at 1-2. Losing by 3 to the Steelers and 2 to the Ravens is no great shame, imagine what would be possible with Josh Gordon though... |
