Garmin are trying to put Talansky outside time limits
Now that is a strange way of advising a cyclist to retire |

Talansky won't give up, but even if he doesn't he's outside the time limit.
My question: how did his back manage to get so much worse after the rest day?

This climb should be Cat 2. As I said this stage is much harder than it looks. |

Easy..rest day is not always rest day for all riders. Sometimes it is easy to keep going ..then stop for a day.
He wants to continue ..this is emotional and great stuff. No rider wants to quit TdF |

already 15 minutes and the real stage hasn't even started. it's likely that Talansky will be outside of the time limit at the end.

But if he keeps losing time at this pace he surely will be.

Yep, he sure doesnt look good.
But he will probably quit if it looks like he cant get in within the limit. |

Getting a little sick of NBC Sports complete coverage of Andrew Talansky. We get it, he is out of the race and fighting to make the time limit. We don't need the second camera on him for the entire stage.

It certainly is emotional, i remember Sean Kelly crying when he had to quit the Tour after breaking his collarbone |
