What the heck happened to them? In 13, my bars didn't look that bad on the Champs after 4 days of daily KoM breaks...

ive read that on some guys gameplay, sometimes the yellow bar randomly starts at 30% or 50%, and after a restart 80%.. seems like a bug

Starts and adjusts or starts and remains as a maximum as in 13?

First thing would be slightly imaginable if you say not every rider is 100% "there" at the start of the race and might need a few k's, second thing would be a massively strange and dumb bug.

I have 2 questions

1) How do rearange the orders of the rides in the left side of screen.
2) How do you make stage profile show big in the middle of the screem

30% would be a bit much indeed, but to randomize the recovery a little seems like a nice idea to me. Should make for a bad day every now and then and the possibility for some more varied results. And wasn't it announced that daily form would be more important?

I like the sprints much more now, youre teamates from youre train actually gets out of the way now, when you push keep position or whatever its called. And not just slow down and block youre srinter like in PCM 13...

This happened to me but im almost positive its because my rider (Hayman) was feeling ill a few days prior to me racing him.

First impressions on gameplay are good. The automatic mode works very well, had the entire team relaying, getting drinks etc without me having to worry about it. Left Gerrans on automatic to see how'd he race towards the end. He tried to counter-attack Porte but due to him have -4 daily form wasn't able to follow and so Porte solo'd to victory.

I think this will work very well for those out there wanting to create a one rider story.

It doesn't start randomly at least in my S-Mobile career.

If your rider has a bad fitness and crap freshness (and probably also bad rythm) then you won't have like in the previous versions a 100% fit and fresh rider at the start.

Restarted the race I am currently in 5 times and all the riders had the same amount of the bars (well each rider diffrently because of fitness/rythm/freshness)

So i've been looking around the game for an hour or so now, and first impression: Above Expectations

- New design is pleasing, provides great contrast and everything is easy to read
- Everything seems functional so far (but after an hour i can't guarantee this)
- New features are nicely implemented into the wider game (again barely played so we'll see if that holds up)
- Some variants included (Very few but at least there are some, two versions of MSR is nicely done)

However while it's above expectations if you go back and look at my expectations for the game this doesn't mean it's good:
- Inconsistency in the fonts (small thing but it shows rush or lack of care)
- Terrible stats (as always)
- Missing some old features/functions (only an hour in and this might just need getting used to the new game)
- Poor use of screen space (lots of wasted space, lots lots lots!!! Pop-ups, new windows and the layout in general is poorly optimized for the screen
- Failure to save settings (four times i've booted the game, and each time it has failed to save a single change i made in options)
- Lacking that big step forward in career (as always some nice changes but lacking the real marquee improvement)
- Poor translation (mostly in race names and the like, but this is something i've never seen before in a game of theirs and it's not filling me with confidence)

Overall it sounds negative, but mostly these are small things (fonts) or repeat mistakes (stagnation) or expected flaws (stats). After an hour i am still exploring obviously but it is above expectation and showing some nice promise. Nothing game breaking encountered so far so i am cautiously optimistic that Cyanide have made a decent game here. Current Rating: 5.5/10

How do i get the riders stats to show in race?

Well I for one, don't like the new UI. I sense the heavy influence of console design...

I could get used to it...however there is one HOWLING omission in the main management screen of CAREER mode. Gone is the summary of upcoming Calender/stages on the bottom of the screen, with a icon representing the type of race. How are you supposed to manage and get a quick summary of what races are coming up.....Let alone allow you simulate the days where you are not racing? I hope I am missing something here.
This alone will destroy the game for me... I won't play it until this feature is put back..why must, every year they fix things that aren't broken and not fix the things that are ????????? e.g. last year Prize money taken out....this year its back (thank God).... But unless they put back the graphic calender on the bottom in a patch I want my money back.

I must say that graphic wise, the game looks better. Now to find out how the management part is played. (I have no idea what I'm doing Pfft)

My first impressions are going from bad to worse..

It's SLOW. Advancing from one day to the next takes an age.
There is only one simulations option....

SIMULATE UNTIL END OF SEASON....

This is nuts...... My computer is now Simulating an entire year !

Oh what fun I can sit here and watch the days go SLOWLY by with the occasional flash of my screen.

What a useless option IMHO
