If I may, I'd like to quote myself since I doubt that my question will receive much attention in the old thread now, and with PCM14 coming closer, it's more and more urgent

So I'm thinking about buying a new notebook, since my current one is slowing down significantly and decides to just shut down every now and then.
Since PCM(14) will be the most graphically challenging game I'm going to be playing, I'd like to tailor the notebook to it. However, I can't seem to find any system requirements, so can you guys help me out with that? Doesn't need to be on maximum quality either.
Also, while we're at it, do some of you maybe even have specific suggestions for a notebook? I'd also like to use it at the university, so it shouldn't be too heavy or large (I was thinking Ultrabook?). Some sort of a mix between performance and size, with a budget preferably below 800€. I'd be glad for any hints.

You can buy pretty much a beast with that budget, me thinks. I don't have too much time to search for a brand now or PCM specs, but this is what should definitely run you PCM14 without any problems on max.
4GB/8GB RAM
DDR3 8GB/ DDR5 4GB nVidia (preferabely) GFX series
i5/i7 INTEL / 3.0 gHz +
1TB HDD
However, one problem can be that you're buying a laptop/notebook, which doesn't always have a great graphic card. Try not to buy a notebook with a bad graphic card, as it can be pain in ass to change it to a better one afterwards. Good luck!

WHAT PLANET DO YOU LIVE ON? Sorry cunego, but if I'm correct, 800€ is about 560$, which here is only enough to buy an i5 with 8GB RAM, and no dedicated video. And computers are MORE EXPENSIVE in the rest of the world, especially Europe and South America. If you are only looking at PCM, those stats shouldn't be an issue. However, when Cycling Manager Evolved releases, you'll need more power.
Spoiler My plugs are shameless
Actually, €800 is almost $1100
I did the conversion backwards...
Nevermind, you'll be fine.
@cunego: Recommendation from me
i7-4770QM
16GB RAM
GTX760M
1TB HDD OR 256GB SSD
15.6" or larger screen
wasn't it already answered

Somehow one Sagan fan got to him, when he previously conquered the Norwegian fanboys as well as the Dutch fanboys in past years

I didn't, either. Anyways, seems like "new guys" in crew seriously got all of this in terms of getting money from ads/banners and similar things.
Nothing wrong with it, just that I prefered the way all of this "worked" before.

I received that as well.
Even more interesting considering those links still don't work for me. No need to shove it in my face!
