What I want from my team on stage 3 is to show themselves in the break which may survive till the end, and attack a lot in the final 20-30kms to try and win the stage. This stage will be one of the two deciding stages, bar crashes and splits on flat stages, so I really need a good performance.

Tachira 2.0
Seems especially for CT teams going for top climbers may not pay off if they can't catch such breaks.
Stage 5 not tough enough for big shake up, but still chance to fight for overall GC. Depends on gradients though on that climb.
While the game creates great gaps when black gradients come into play in PCM, it's shambles on these long but steady climbs.

This is bullsh*t!
At least I could see my jersey a lot now, but this si really disappointing and the top 5 GC goal that could have easily been achieved seems to be gone!
Only bright spot today is Peilun Wu getting the white jersey. |

What a giant f*ck up! Top 5 goal in huge danger now, as stage 5 indeed isn't too tough. Really gutted that the team didn't invest more ...

Probably you are right.
Those tier 2 climbers are usually better than most helpers. So they get a decent gap quite fast.
In PT or most times in PCT helpers have far higher stats in comparison. |

Those two climbs in the crucial stages ain't looking too steep, but long enough to make for some good racing. Good luck to all involved!
Well, first climb didn't Indeed Tachira-style, may the second stage be better!

Alberto Losada ... Bonsucro loves you!
-- After a surprising second place in the last Tour of the Middle East stage he makes the right move here in Langkawi. Nice to see Melo, Camargo and Txurruka finish with the main bunch also.
How will this race develop with Genting Highlands being the only real decisive GC stage left? |

Was not expecting that! Great performance from Rubiano and we might end up with a GC placing as a result of this
Why all the moaning? The AI's fine

Kiserlovski in the big group behind, what could I expect more? AI sucks and that's known, but luckily this isn't one of my top goals of the season.

I understand why my team was chasing as Fernandez clearly the best sprinter left in the finishing group. Was hoping for more than 4th from Moinard but that isnt too bad. 5th and 8th in the GC is good but I hope for more attacks.

With three guys in the main group I can only hope at least one of them will try something in the next mountain stage.

Nobody is going to believe this, but this TdeL and the incredible outcome of the TT at San Luis delivering big style for Nutresa has all occurred on the day that team general manager celebrates his birthday (even this smile isn't wide enough to do justice to the reality ). Most welcome presents (I refer to IRL not game timeline)!
The 3 sprinters in the squad are now going to be pressed into necessary service as flat domestiques to control the breaks on the flat stages, and hopefully quite well suited. We shall see. The bonus seconds for stage victory help grow the buffer for Genting Highlands, question remains will it be enough, Masuda is no slouch when road goes up. Ochoa Quintero still lurking if Masuda gets into any difficulties.
If both races could just freeze the GC's to the finish now .... where's that cake with candles to blow out???

Ah, where have we seen this before? Mid-stage breakaway = win.
Not too bad of a stage for us, we didn't make any notable moves but Feillu managed to finish nicely in the main group.

Big thanks to jdog for making this AMAZING userbar!

Great race for Guillen so far. Way better than expected. Atleast that would bring us some well-Needet points if Arroyo fails to do anything in the mountains. If we only could complete our top 5 goal aswell..

Here we go... Genting always has been a decent climb in the Man-Game - even last year it proved highly selective. I think Iglinski has a chance here to blow everyone away.
The Cameron stage was never looking likely to split things up too much (more into bitty groups) - that was more about riders staying concentrated at being near the front.

At least the game decided to send with Sanikwathi one of my riders in the break. Uugunbayar again disappointing. I feel he could have had a good result today as he was not on the front and still managed to sprint to 15th. |
