I fully agree too. It's tough to choose between similar hilly races. Knowing the mo/hill-ratio would make it more obvious what to pick to find the best race for the riders.
Speaking of Vuelta a Mallorca, I somehow think we'll see an upset. A puncheur from a break claiming overall victory? |

Dunno, I just feel like now that mo/hill-ratios can be set by whoever makes the race again, and most of the time adjusted by whoever proposes it for the calendar if it doesn't seem to fit, they're reasonably resembling the profile, and I think the manager skill involved in race planning should be more about identifying the races looking more suited to my leader than about who spends more time doing the math which race mathematically suits my leader.

Good ride from the team the lead out was spot on and already gives us some points to take home well done Maksimov though he's scoring some points this year already. |

Nice report and decent stage for Hoffman with 6th place, shame that lead-out Lay somehow still finish in fron of main sprinters, Hoffman needs even better position next time, as he covered long distance alone.
Next "sprinter stages should suit him better than likes of Maksimov, so hopefully he will crack top5. Nice to see Lagkuti in the break and also Rabon finishing 18th, that could mean he is very attentive and keen for results.
Congrats to Project Africa, Roman is nice surprise for sure!

I like this Kastrantas dude. He has already attacked a lot this season. And grabbed some points doing it.
Congrats to Aidan! Indeed an impressive lead-out by Lay.

Really good comeback by Lay, he delivered Maksimov perfectly. Nice sprint coverage, too.

Nice win by Maksimov . Pleased we stayed out of any trouble, one stage to go before the real fun begins for us.

Oh my gosh! I can't believe it! Maksimov has performed outstandingly so far! 4th in Down Under and next race a win! I don't expect the whole season to be this good, but at least we've had an awesome start. It's great to see the team work so well and I was a bit worried when the lead out was so all over the show so close to the finish, but Lay was extraordinary and still finished 5th! Thanks for the congratulations guys! I was quite dismal after losing out on van Heerden, but Maksimov has been surprising so far.
I'm a bit skeptical of his chances tomorrow, but if he can maintain the jersey that would be amazing!

PCM13 likes Maksimov. 4th isn't bad. Next stage should suit Cabrera more and with Mora helping, should be fun. |

Looked good going into the sprint for Lavoine. Some faster people overtook him in the end though. At least we showed up in a screenshot

Spotted two Alpina riders caught behind in the split in the photo... scrolled down expecting the worst and guess what? It's Orozco and Zurita, my two best riders. Breakaways from here on I guess

The problem is the relatively low flat stat of some CT climbers. I had a few caught out as well.

Perfect stage for Maksimov really and underlines surprise that not more big sprinters here. Great points for project Africa before serious racing begins.

Wow, can't believe Haavardsholm and Yates were a part of a sprint train. Hopefully that won't happen again on the other flat stages, as it more or less ruins Corioni's chances of winning a stage.
Anyway, 3rd is a great result. Also nice to see that Corioni took some points on the intermediate sprint.
Congrats to aidan!

Someone really won`t be happy after reading the report!
Feel sorry for him/them.
Also Maksimov! PCM13 seems to love him. Already better than in his previous years.
This is a weird sprint finish with that huge crossroad. Where to go?

YEYEY first win of the season and a 1st/3rd after another great leadout, unlucky for Durasek but the sprinters have made up for that will be interesting to see if my team even try tomorrow now or just wait for stage 4. |
