SN hinted that this might be Frank Schleck’s last year with the Luxembourg squad
Say what? 0 chance that he ever leaves Vesuvio, until retirement forces it.
My mistake, I must have misinterpreted something.

Curious that you have the bottom 7 teams as promoting teams, with only Bpost as being rated a little higher. I've not thought about it too much, but I don't expect Bpost to be the highest placed promoted team! I think that will be Tinkoff, Bouygues or Prio.
Call it optimism

Also not sure that B&O can go from almost relegated to 6th with a very similar squad.
With the amount of points he lost in the TDF from his flat while in yellow, Pluchkin should be able to score even better than he did last season. There's no reason he can't win it. Add in Guldhammer turning into a true GC contender now and there is more strength there than last year.

Really nice preview of my team, Count!
As for Smowz' prediction, I really don't see why the team is going backwards.
Well maybe staying still whilst other teams move forward?
I'd call it more a change of focus rather than staying still, which you can't do all at once. I don't see how other teams have really moved forward that much either. Plus there's a pretty big hole in my salary cap because of Mohoric.

Yeah I had that gap in the salary last year due to signing of 5 french talents. This year their wages have gone down, and so my team have moved slightly forward. On some areas atleast. Looking at the competition though my team have moved forward a bit more, as some have moved back due to investing in the future - This will always be the case. Teams moving a bit back and forth.

I admittedly like your prediction of B&O, Count, but I think - bias aside - that I have to concur with cio and SN. Top 5ish sounds a bit too optimistic in my ears, especially after last season. I am happy that I have three so competent guys in Pluchkin, Guldhammer and Keinath, but I'm very aware that I lack the same sort of quality on the cobbles and the hills, heck even the sprints. But that's how I want my team.
Still let's see, a Top 5 would of course not be all that bad for me

It's nice to see that you have faith in my team, as both of you have my team in the top five. Though, as CountArach wrote, I think it will be really close around the fifth place. My personal goal is top 10, and if we make it, I'll be very happy.

I feel my team is hard to place, and it seems like Count and Smowz agree as they place me apart. Took a risk with Pozatto and Sella, but couldn't refuse the Gaudin for Pozatto deal, and Sella pretty much became a target when Ricco, Sicard etc got too expensive.
Other than that I hope that Klemme and Flügel will cooperate well, hopefully atleast one of them attacks each race, and then I could get some good results. Also, with having both of them at 80 it enabled me to send Pozatto to the Giro, where I believe he will be a great stage hunter.
Other than that will be interesting to see if Zepuntke, Zabel and Monsalve can give me some results already this year, I hope so but you never know.
In general I feel my team can end everywhere from top 10 (with lots and lots of luck), to dead last (with no luck at all)

Two out of three predictions say that I'll survive. Good enough |

You're my pick as well. Not at all motivated by hoping your wages go skyhigh and you have to sell me some talents |

And "some" leader to me.
Anyway i agree Festina is great this year, you are obviously master dealer and we all know that.
Great previews Count, i enjoyed reading them even as not part of the PT, good luck to BPost, you seem to have a nice squad to stay in the big league.
