Looking for Some More Money
Only a day after the president of In-n-Out racing p/b Auchan, announced that his transfer were over, he is now looking for another sponsor to give him that money.
Reports coming out of the team are saying that we're is looking for an equipment sponsor, even though Lapierre is already signed on as a sponsor for the team.
La pierre said they are ready to withdraw their sponsorship and cash investments in the team if a problem occurs.

We find the money and a New Rider
We have come to terms with Trek to be an equipment sponsors for the team. However, he was also able to convince lapierre to stay as a normal sponsor.
The team will lose some money the lapierre has with drawn from the team's budget, but they will easily make up for it with all the money Trek is giving them.
And with that money, we went out and bought veteran Climber Rémy Di Gregorio for an astounding 155k. Many people think that this is wildly over paying a good climber who isnt great in any other parts of cycling. However we responded by saying, "Experience is invaluable" and countinued by saying, "Remi has had a good career so far and he should be able to bolster our team by mentoring people and with his abbilities on the course"
Di Gregorio has had a pretty succesful career so far as he's had a top 25 finish in the Giro D'italia, Tour of California and the Tour of Romandie but he's decided to head back to the CT level this year.

Murillo's Contract Voided
In-n-Out racing Powered by Auchan has been forced to void Juan Murillo's contract after going over the set salary cap.
we've released a public statement for the team apologizing for the team's mistake.
Here's the full statement:
"we would like to apologize on our part for going over the salary cap, it was a foolish mistake on our part and it will never happen again"
Auchan said this about the managers job security:
"We have full confidence in our DS, however things cannot continue as they have, We have full confidence that the DS will turn the ship around"
In-n-Out released a small statement about the situation:
"We still believe in the DS at the moment, and from our side of the spectrum we see no reason to remove him from his current spot anytime soon"

In-n-Out P/b Auchan Announced Stagiares
On the heels of their salary issues, In-n-Out p/b Auchan has announced the signings of their Stagiares who will each ride 15 days starting in August
the First is James Oram from New Zealand. Oram specializes in Time trailing, but he can also sprint a little. Oram was signed for 20k, he was one of the only Stagiares signed at that price which shows their level of confidence in him.
Next is the Columbian Brayan Ramirez who is a sprinter which is the contrary to his Columbian Friends, most of which are Climbers. But, for a sprint his age he can get up hills pretty well. Brayan has a very nice sprinting kick and at the age of 22 he should be able to develop nicely
Finally is frenchman Alexis Dulin who is expected to develop into a very nice climber. Dulin should gain some valuable experience while riding next Di Gregorio.

Now, we're gonna start a new segment in this HQ called "interrogations"
This is where we will be interviewing riders about anything from their Schedule this season to how much they hate French food.
Here we go!
(SC = Sylvain Chavanel, INT = Interviewer)
INT= Thanks for coming Sylvain and being the first of our new segment: Interrogations!
SC= How much are you paying me for this again?
INT= Won't be hard to pay you more then your wage (Laughs)
SC= Very funny
INT= Alright now that we're already there, let me ask if I may, do you think you're getting payed enough as someone who's gotten a top 10 on Liege - Baston - Liege and Paris Nice and not to mention your victory in the Fleche Wallone
SC= don't forget my Victory on stage 19 of the 2012 Tour de France
INT= Ah yes!
SC= Honestly, no I dont think I'm being payed enough, but the contract I have at the moment is the one that was made with AMEXpc, now that I'm with In-n-Out, I'm sure that they'll give me a raise the moment they are able to
INT= You think they have that much confidence in you?
SC= Of course, I mean they bought me for 100k, they wouldn't do that unless they really needed me
INT= Interesting, now regarding that transfer, were you happy to leave that team?
SC= I'm not gonna lie I wasn't really sad like some other are when they leave, of course I knew I was gonna miss some of my friends there, but as I aproach the end of my career, it feels good to ride in a lower division and mentor some of the sport's future stars
INT= let me quote you, "Aproach the end of my career", are you hinting at anything there?
SC= *Laughs*
INT= Alright, thanks for coming Sylvain and being the first one on "Interrogations"
SC= Anytime

Stagiare Oram Does Well in Crit Series
James Oram Riding in the Scotty Browns Vision Jersey
Stagiare James Oram recently rode in the series of crits. called the Bay Cycling Classic.
Oram did great in stage one as he was in the break, but unfortunately they were caught during the final sprint, but he still finished 8th
James didn't do anything the in the rest of the crits, still great to see one of our young riders do as well as he did.

This is Part 2 of interrogations and today we are going to be interviewing Julián Rodas, the Columbian climber
Spoiler This is where we will be interviewing riders about anything from their Schedule this season to how much they hate French food.
Here we go!
(JR = Julián Rodas, INT = Interviewer)
Int = Alright guys, welcome to the second part of our new series called "Interrogations", today we're gonna be interviewing Columbian Climber Julian Rodas.
JR = It's great to be here!
INT = So, just as the last guy we interviewed, you were bought from your last team: Project = Africa. Are you dissapointed to have left.
JR = Honestly not that much, being a columbian climber, I felt really outta place with all of these other South African riders
INT = Clearly, that didn't hinder your preformance i mean you finished second in the Tour d'Algerie after winning stage 5, you also finish fifth in the Tour of Utah and the Clasico RNC.
JR = Well dont get me wrong just because they were from somewhere else deosnt mean they weren't good team mates, they helped me a bunch during those races
INT = Of course you're looking foward to this season
JR = Of course, i'm more excited for this season then the season i rode for CSC - Orbea and that's saying something
INT = I'm sure the team is really happy to have you on board
JR = of course or else they wouldnt have payed that transfer fee for me
INT = Of course, now has the team told you what race you will be riding in this year?
JR = All I know for now is I'm gonna ride in the Tour of America and the Tour of Utah
INT = Tour of America? interesting
JR = Well, yea I love the route personally, and I've never gotten the chance to Lead in a race of that type of race
INT = So youre going to be leading?
JR = well Phillip [Gaimon] is going to be the leader in the hilly stages, but in the mountains, yea I'll be leading
INT = That's great news!, well thats all we have time for today, big thank you to Julian Rodas for joining us!
JR = Anytime!

In-n-Out p/b Auchan Announces their ToA Team
In-n-Out p/b Auchan has announced their startlist for the Tour of America. We've set this race as a personal goal for his team and has send his best riders for this race.
So here it is
Leader = | Julian Rodas | Sprinter = | Robert Sweeting | Mountain Free Element = | Remy Di Gregorio | Hill Free Element = | Phillip Gaimon | Helper = | Nicolas Rousseau | Lead Out = | Cyril Lemoine | Helper = | Sylvain Chavanel |
Clearly some of the best riders on the team will be using their valuable race days to participate in this race.
We were very happy when we announced the startlist saying, "we are very confident that this squad can do very well during the tour"

Wow, that's a lot of race days of your leaders to throw away at C1 level. I'm not sure that'll pay off for you even with a depleted startlist. |

My team is a perfect example of that.
Rodas might get a top 10 in the GC while Sweeting might grab a few top 10s, 5s, depending on how strong the sprinting field is. |

More happy then when we rode for CSC-Orbea...? I doubt it.
Good luck to Rodas, I'll be cheering for him at the Tour of America since we won't be traveling there this season.

Rodas is certainly a good rider to have on board, he was one of our targets.
I believe he's from Colombia, though

Not really. Maxime's team has 150 total race days and a good 70+ (maybe 85+) of those race days will have little chance for Rodas to do anything. Given the fact Rodas will have more than 60 race days it seems the sensible decision to send him to the Tour of America........ |
