Brilliant to see Topchanyuk and Jaramillo try some kind of attacks on the early climb. Can't ask for more.
And great to see Wiggle win! That's a team I really fancy. Though, that can be said about almost any team
Hoping for something similar from my team on the mountainous stages to come, though, we should try for the breakaway as well, early attackers should be rewarded at least once in this stage race. |

Sorry for not having put out a report these last 5 days but have been really busy and I'm now trying to solve a narrow road problem. Will do my best to get back to regular reporting soon!

Sorry for the delay and the rather average report but it was the third time I wrote one for that stage and not much happened. Very deserved win for De La Fuente, would have won on those two other tries aswell.
Stage 4 will be posted tomorrow evening.

No worries, still big thanks for the report and keeping this game running, it is a lot of work to do for sure.
Solid stage for my team. It is good to keep no gaps with other favourites in a hilly stage for Henao. And König is riding well so far as well. Hopefully Henao will save his season here.

Not entirely sure I should be disappointed in the tactics. I didn't lose any time on a hilly stage with possibly the worst hilly climber in the leaders jersey. I still hold the youth classification, and points.
It all adds up! Especially in a race where any points more than just for finishing is a bonus! |

A better stage for SRB, a lot of activity from Sella again and a nice stage finish for a guy like Sella.
Two Koeniggsegg in the abandons is interesting, slightly eroding their points yield here.

Velits and Denifl with horrible time loss here. Will be interesting if they attack in other stages now.
And a pity to see Ariesen abandon. |

Brambilla has not lost any time on the favorites yet, which is really positive. Hope he can hang on and get a good GC placement.

Nothing spectacular happened here. I guess that's positive. Fothen decided to try to hang on with the favorites, and Chris Anker is doing well so far.

Denifl dropping out of contention and Pedraza not losing any time. A good day.

My little hope of a top 20 for Jaramillo seems to be gone now. That's a pity. Now it's all about breakaways for us
Well done to De la Fuente and congrats to Rin! De la Fuente is known from last season to pull something like this off, and it's nice to see him succeed in the Pro Tour as well.
Hopefully we can play our cards right on the coming mountain stages, as both Topchanyuk and Jaramillo could be able to do something if they hit the right move.
Thanks for the report, Spilak23.

None too pleased with Denifl. He's got to attack to try to redeem himself with a stage win.

Sorry guys but started working at 8 am this morning and only returned home now. Had hoped to be home earlier so I could still write a report but i'm dead tired now. I'm not going to promise to put out a report tomorrow or monday cause there is a big chance i'll have to work that long again.
