Well, I'm thinking about starting another historical. Just not sure which. 1999, 2001 are coming from another stagemakers, 2008 is done by roturn, 2010, 2011 and 2012 are out there. Looks like it will be decided between 2002, 2004, 2007 and 2009.
2009 Vuelta please please please
I got my reasons(Start incredibly close to my home )
Also fits with Ian's suggestions btw
Don't lie(wink wink) it's cuz Bobby Gesink was great then(im only joking of course) |

Yeah, I agree. The hilly stages are either in quick simulation or 3D race a little bit bugged. Even better the editor now has a function to force a profile or hill/mountain-ratio.

I understand that variants of Vuelta are more needed than TDF, because there are many available at this point. But I won't do a Vuelta besides maybe finishing the 2003 one. I'm just not that attached to the spanish races, which makes it hard for me to keep motivation high. Sorry

Thanks, man. I'm glad you liked it. It sometimes looks a little bit weird with so wide roads on the climbs, but the gameplay is much better.

Well, for the 2001 you have to ask altehacke or alex-sonic, both made a 2001 variant. 2010 should be in the stage database. I'm pretty sure someone made 2011 for PCM2010 back then.

Yeah, they seem to work with PCM2013. But I don't know if they are completely compatible in terms of AI etc. But great to hear the stages helped to improve your gameplay.

2003 is a nice route dude, I may use that in 2015, I have downloaded 2000 but will probably not use it as variant, I will use the great mnt stages though, two many flat stages for me. |

@bigggassi
If i may ask are you interested in doing PN Dauphine Criterium even variants ? your TDF variants are so cool made me think what years of those races had interesting routes.

I have 2003 Dauphine, Romandie, Suisse and Crit. Int for PCM2012 which I will convert. Besides that, yeah maybe. It depends on the course and my time/motivation.

I really want to congratulate you for all of your work. I've downloaded two of your historical tours (not the 2005, cause the route sucks, Cav could almost get 15 stages victories...) and all of that seems very nice ! |

Yeah, you were absolutely right. Which Morzine? 2000, 2003 or 2006?

2006, famous Landis-epo-knighthood
Just finished the stage, won by Quintana before Froome.
In terms of slopes, nothing special to say, you've really improved, and it's fine.
But graphically I want to notice some defects :
- not important, but i found the landscape of the valleys a bit empty. I prefer it (even if it's note really realistic) with fields - like Pellizzoti (and I, copying) do
- and the most important, in the climbs, we can seen things like that or that you can easily correct with "flatten" and "smooth" tools I've even noticed a bridge. Really annoying..
(And, because i was there last two weeks, Morzine is not a large city with high buildings, but nicely composed of chalets.. but not the most important at all)

Yeah, this stage is quite "old". Lots of stupid little mistakes in there. Even the slopes are better in the other versions. I will look into it and upload the improved stage. Thanks for telling me.

NEW HISTORICAL TDF VARIANT
This time I'd been able to finish the route of 2002 since my last release.
This are the features:
20 Stages
12 flat one already containing 2 individual timetrials and 1 team-timetrial.
2 hilly stages containing the last timetrial
6 mountain stages with 5 mountain top finishes containing La Mongie, Plateau de Beille, Mont Ventoux, Les Deux Alpes and La Plagne
Almost every road even the mountain slopes have wideness of "3", blocking should be rarely seen.
As always I uploaded also the profiles and ztc-files into the #1 post.
Have fun and let me know if there's a mistake

Jeez, you're awesome biggg
I know you didn't want to make a whole Vuelta, but if you have time and motivation for it, can you make the Assen 2009 prologue? Being it on a circuit, it would be a nice challenge for you ( ) Stage 2 would be nice as well, but not necassary.
Just a suggestion, it's ok if you won't
