1st stage win of 2013? Maybe from the race, he won a stage in Olympia. |

Awesome win, awesome teamwork.
Was really afraid for Drapac for a moment, but nobody can match Guillen in pure speed

If we can keep the lead after tomorrow I will be delighted. If not, then it will cap off a month of huge highs and huge lows. |

Maksimov can, if he is positioned well... Seems to be THE problem this season for my team....

Oh xD
When a lead-out seems to work my team still finds a way to screw it up....
Vorganov to take stage 6 for a second year in a row I hope...

The sprint was really weird. It was windy and up to 62 km/h, which definitely had an influence.
The wind obviously came strong before the last corner. So when Torckler had a gap after that corner without any wind he had this advantage over the riders, that were in the wind earlier. |

Weird sprint or not, I wasted 150k loanbudget and 150k wage budget on a sprinter who keeps failing...

Hugentobler's doing a brilliant job of collecting those KOM points and the way he's going he should take that jersey home with him.
It's a shame Awang couldn't be involved in today's sprint but seeing how chaotic it was and that there weren't many others that could keep up I'm not too surprised or disappointed.

It's interesting that yourselves and Evian are hurting over the choice of relying heavily on a sprinter. Throughout my man game experience I have always felt sprinters were an unreliable breed. We are seeing a similar sort of unravelling involved in the Rogers/ Oz cycling debacle.
The all your eggs in one basket strategy is risky, if it comes off your seen as a strategy mastermind. It worked spectacularly well for Sykellfreak (Venchi), ember (Aker) and CIO (Puma) last year. However this time round things are looking less in favour of the one trick ponies.
I think you were a bit unlucky there, your misfortune is Cadbury's gain, who knows what Torckler can do on that climb?

Sprinters are unreliable, yes...
Didn't plan to get a sprinter like Roman tho... My initial plan was a 78MO guy from Portugal (forgot the name...), Zakarin and Polivoda as leaders on their terrains... Plan failed quite miserably, so I decided to take the opurtunity to get Maksimov...

Good 4th and 7th there, Rocchetti may have the points jersey back tomorrow. Shame Petit went too early, but what can you do? We need to drop Torckler tomorrow and not allow Vorganov to get a gap if we want to win though. |

Good to Scully stepping in for Drapac this time.
Fearing the hilltop-finish though. Too much disasters for Oz recently, can't help myself having a bad feeling. Please prove me wrong.

What were we doing? Attacking instead of chasing?
Two in the top 10 is nice but I'd rather have won |

Scarponi has done a great job for Hugentobler today, defending the Jersey from his fellow breakaway companions and also holding off the peloton over the summit of the KOM point.
Hopefully Hugentobler will be back in the break himself tomorrow as it has the most points available out of the 2 remaining stages and if he is, and is competitive at the points it should garuntee his jersey.

WOW! What an insanely great day for Nardin!
First he finally gets his sprint positioning right in stage 5. In such a windy finish the back of the first line of riders seems like the best place to be.
And then stage 6...just perfect! That is exactly the way Team Gazelle wants their riders to win. Being the first to attack and taking it all the way to the finish line.
Hope Goddaert isn't injured. He'd be a great help in defending the jersey on flat terrain.

Somehow expected something like that. At least two guys still in the GC-points, couldn't expect us to finish in Top-10, tbh.
Too bad it wasn't possible for Delgerbayar to fight for the KoM-lead with so many break attempts he had.

Disappointing to see that Olsson is all the way down at eight place in the GC, considering that he has been fifth on both the hilly stages.. Congrats to Gazelle and DD.

And now it's Kung that's gone in the break to do the defensive work for Hugentobler.
I wonder which one of them is going have a go in the next stage
