the riders should stop whining and race, if the organisers has deemed it safe to ride, RIDE. or abandon. They only punish us, the fans and viewers by doing this.
They're not monkeys in cages with blades to fight each other. All year it's been crappy weather, I understand they're sick of it. |

They'll race on the Galibier, don't worry.
Sure, but this is suppose to be one of the hardest stages... suddenly it will be a 50km slope only (shorter if they skip telegraphe also) instead of 150km of ups and downs... |

But if you protest 3 or 4 days after something happens... what's the point?

protest against what? ridiculous...
Riding 25 km in the rain is bad enough for your health... Those guys have been riding 200 to 250 km in the cold, rain and sometime mountains for two weeks now.
Your reaction feels like the one of a man who'd whip his exhausted horse to death just so that it keeps galloping, and who'd still blame the horse for dying.
Meh... |

Also remember that these guys do this for a living - it isn't just that they are sick, it is that they take the risk of being sick every day that has weather like this for our entertainment. This is about calling attention to their basic working conditions.

Well its not like the bad weather came as a shock.... the weather has been horrible the whole winter. So they should have been prepared for it... |

Really, I'm irritated because they are protesting on a weekend. I get to watch 8 stages a GT, and in this Giro, that's 2 sprints, 2 TTs, a breakaway stage, a stage we couldn't see, and a neutralised stage.
Basically the only one good stage I'll get to watch is stage 20.

I get it, the weather was bad... but they knew the weather was going to be bad, why not prepare for it? its not the 19th century... nowadays we can prepare for bad weather... maybe im harsh because i'm annoyed... we have a say in sweden, there are no bad weather only bad clothes =P |

Indeed.
Good job from Bongiorno to steal 2nd place from Chalapud. Pirazzi looking good to win the blue jersey.

Neutralise the descent? Weening has no understanding of this concept apparently, a bit like PCM. Either he got permission to go or there are going to be a ton of annoyed riders in the Peleton when he next sees them. |
