Lucky that no gap was recorded. Now, time for Dekker to do his magic on the next stage. |

Awesome stage, great report. Brilliant victory from Hoogerland.
It's going to be interesting that mountain stage now. Dekker vs Abal vs Keizer for tomorrow it seems.
Too bad both Plaza and Nicácio lost time. After the good TT I thought they had the legs to shine here, but they can still do a good result here.

Nice to see a win for CT!
Happy with the attacking spirit shown by Solis and Suaza, but could do with them picking up more points

And that is why I wanted Bibby to lose time on stage 4. 2 seconds for 2nd overall. I can't see him getting that back on the final stage with the flat finish.

Might have had too much faith in Peraud it seems. Unless something special happens in next stage, this is going to be just another too-less-points-race for Oz. Ain't looking good atm..
Thanks for the quick and quality reports, btw!

Thanks for the great reports, but the race has been a letdown for us, Popovych was supposed to fight for the podium here, not lost 2 minutes against same or much worse hilly riders, being beaten so much by Abal on hills is pretty dull.
But nice 3rd in a mountain stage, everyone has a bad luck sometimes and hopefully Popo will at least hold that top10 spot, maybe gain a place or two from Keizer and such.
Congrats to Dekker and CT!

Yes Oz Cycling are having a tactical nightmare. Napatilano's win in Moscow begins to put te pressure on I think.
Dekker dominating as he must, as Avin says perhaps a bit of a letdown this race for two big early season bloomers Metinvest and Tinkoff. Definately Bibby's best race in memory.

I've really enjoyed this race thus far, with Bibby a really deserving leader.

Finally some success. Awesome with a stage victory and the race lead before the final stage where he will hopefully obliterate everyone else |

Good to see Dekker living up to the expected dominance. Really deserved to win the stage given his superior climbing in comparison to the rest of the field.
Bibby's 2nd place obviously partly due to the massive luck on stage 4, but still decent riding from him. CSC should be fairly happy with Abal in 3rd, given that he really overperformed on the hilly stage. Shame for Metinvest to have Popo's chances ruined.
Great reporting, Spilak!

Mendes has become my team leader... that's funny. Maybe he can score something out of the last stage and conquer a top5.
Congrats CT, finally a victory from Dekker. Perhaps this can be the turning point Vueling need.

U25 competition, Spilak
Congrats to Vueling! They really needed that to have a shot at promotion, I guess.

That was much worse than in my wildest nightmares...
Peraud seems to be useless. Had hopes for him fighting for Top-10s this year. If he continues his horror-shows, Tour of America will be our ticket to CT, i fear.
Thanks for the reports though Don't want to be just negative here.

Wished Fraile would have got in the breakaway in challenged the KoM and possibly the win. And wished Abal got 2nd overall but a podium a is still nice.
Anybody know how many teams still haven't won anything yet... I'm starting to feel left out.
Thanks for the reports Spilak.

A shame that I couldn't take another stage win. Can't really afford to gift them away like that. Anyway, happy with the overall + points jersey. Team competition is a plus |

Great seeing Hoogerland being active and 7th in the GC is acceptable.
Nice reporting, thanks! |

2nd for Bibby is a very nice result here, and 2 stage wins makes it an awesome race.
Thanks for the reports!

Congrats to the winners there. That was an entertaining race to follow. Thanks for that Spilak.
Though it was really awkward for my team. The TTT went great. After that my 2 leaders just vanished. On the other hand Mendes, my free-role man, performs unbelievably well in the mountain stage and falters in the last one where he should be in contention... I don't get it. A crash or a puncture it's bad luck, but this is nonsense.
Nevertheless 9th, 11th and 12th isn't all that bad in the end.
