91 points, pretty good
Round 3 will be hard, since it is less obvious what others will answer. Also, I don't know any famous dead poets
This must be sarcasm
It really isn't. I just don't care for poets |

Made a bit of a mistake. Just hope that some more people make the same mistake, but probably not

That's the way I choose to look at my results too.
I already know that I'm heading towards another bad round, but whatever.

Round 3: Literature - Evaluation
As expected and hoped for, it was a round with much more diverse and balanced answers. Take a look:
Question 1: Name a famous author.
Two answers stood out with J.K. Rowling (12) and William Shakespeare (7). J.R.R. Tolkien and Dan Brown with three mentions each give some points as well.
Spoiler 1x Roald Dahl
1x Nicholas Cage (not the actor)
1x John Grisham
1x Ernest Hemingway
1x Edgar Allen Poe
1x Charles Dickens
Question 2: Name a famous dead poet.
While Shakespear was second in the first question, he was the top answer of the whole round here. 17 of you named him. Only Edgar Allen Poe (5) had more than one mention.
Spoiler 1x William Wordsworth
1x John Keates
1x Daniel Defoe
1x Luis de Camoes
1x Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
1x Fernando Pessoa
1x Frederico Garcia Lorca
1x Robert Frost
1x (The dead poet's) society
Question 3: Name a book that has been made into a film.
Two predominant answers, probably the expected ones. The Lord of the Rings (12) edged out Harry Potter (11) by only one vote.
Spoiler 1x Twilight
1x The Hunger Games
1x Romeo and Juliet
1x The Hobbit
1x The Lake House
1x The Da Vinci Code
Question 4: Name a genre of literature.
The question which gave the least points. Sci-Fi and Drama (5 each) were the top answers in front of Novel and Fantasy (4 each).
Spoiler 3x Romance
2x Poetry
2x Crime
2x Thriller
2x Fiction
1x Comedy
1x Horror
Question 5: Name a famous children's book/story.
Some interesting and diverse answers here as well with Harry Potter (9) prevailing over everyone else.
Spoiler 3x Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
2x Winnie The Pooh
2x The Very Hungry Catterpillar
2x Where the Wild Things are
2x Little Red Ridinghood
2x Peter Pan
1x The Wizard of Oz
1x Tom Sawyer
1x Snow White
1x Pippi Longstocking
1x Thomas the Tank Engine
1x Hansel and Gretel
1x Green Eggs and Ham
1x Charlotte's Web
1x Some Random Book
That leads us to the following round ranking:
1 | SuperKid | 55 | 2 | lokytrew | 54 | 3 | sammyt93 | 48 | | Gulvplanke | 48 | 5 | Bikex | 47 | 6 | Schleck96 | 46 | 7 | PCM rulezz | 45 | 8 | fjhoekie | 44 | 9 | jesleyh | 43 | 10 | roturn | 42 | | pellizotti2 | 42 |
The Top 4 are only one answer short of a perfect round, SuperKid wins with only one point missing from question 4.
For the overall, there are again some changes. Previous co-leader SweatyViking seemed too busy and didn't participate. But jesleyh can't benefit and take the lead, because Bikex had a better round and was only one point behind. Those two have now a small advance to the other contenders.
1 | Bikex | 179 | 2 | jesleyh | 176 | 3 | Eden95 | 165 | 4 | dienblad | 162 | 5 | FroomeDog99 | 158 | 6 | lokytrew | 154 | | ikaros33 | 154 | 8 | usto | 151 | 9 | Gulvplanke | 148 | 10 | baseballlover | 139 |
Let's see how you'll handle Round 4:
I'm with stupid 2013 - cunego59's Round 4
History
I'm very curious how / if this will work out:
Question 1: Name a war except one of the two World Wars.
Question 2: Name an important politician of the 20th century.
Question 3: Name an important historic person that was not a politician.
Question 4: Name an ancient culture.
Question 5: Name the event that has changed history of mankind the most.
Good luck Deadline is monday, 18:00 CET.

The answers to these questions will possibly be pretty diverse, I have no idea what to answer for each. Good questions though.
