Good start by the team, and it's awesome to see that my sprint-train actually did quite well even though Kip couldn't win.
Really happy Thire did a good job, looked promising even though it wasn't completely rewarded in the end.
Yeah, it's much better than the fiasco back in Australia but I guess the competition was too much for them.

For a second I thought I had this one, but again my team's tactics result in failure once more. Avelino was great winning all those intermediate sprints but the team was too short to help him win the stage. I probably shouldn't have brought Caldeira, that way Avelino would have to pick someone's wheel, instead of exhausting himself so early.
Anyway losing to Serebriakov is way more acceptable than for De Fauw, so yeah this is an improvement.
Nice reports from the sprints Count

I guess the problem for Avelino here is that he is losing energy for going for the intermediates and also having to sprint too early.
De Fauw winning the first stage was a big wow, but Serebriakov was a more obvious rival for Avelino. Seems strange that we have such a sprintfest at Tachira, not long till the mountains though!

Ok from Ghafari, not as good as the first stage but hopefully he can have another good finish |

Kip is really showing some good form, though the leadup work by the team has to be improved.

.... and the chaos button has been pressed.
Good for the spectators, nightmare for the involved managers (and riders I guess!)

Though I suspect Alakagom won't be too disappointed
First huge crash of the season I believe and it just happened to take out some GC contenders. It will certainly make the mountain stages more interesting though, even if the GC looks less interesting already.

Crashes are never fun, hopefully some of those riders will at least go for stage wins. But the big expectations will have to be toned down for some through bad luck.

Ouch. I guess the mountains are even more exciting now as they need to gain a lot of time.
And for the third time: Wtf Vesely??? Never have seen such an overperforming on 3 stages in the row. |

Another 5th for Cano, looks like he have reached his ``maximum`` in terms of results.
Pablo Mudarra, Colex and Raabe all losing time, but that sholdn't matter too much, it looks much worser for some other teams though..

That is way better than he should be doing. Plenty of sprinters with better stats in this race.

Yep, i'm not really complaining either
But it looked like he got the perfect ``leadout`` and at one point i even thought a podium spot was within reach.

Great news for us, Ndbri can now be further up on the GC
Another good result from Ghafari getting us some steady points |

Jesus, I had a heart attack when first looking at the crash screen, but hopefully Marquez was luckily more up front as was the rest of the team it looks. Felt really sorry for those GC riders that crashed, especially with this being such long stage race.
Marc Goos on 10th ? I'll take that any day

The team chef made him a special steak before the start of the race.
But seriously, he's frickin' awesome so far!
Also good to see my riders on the attack every day so far. And with Dyachenko and Osella staying out of trouble, things are looking perfect so far!
Bad luck for Bintang and ING, though. Feel sorry for you guys.

Yay a victory! Now I can breathe.
It seems Smowz was right, losing less energy in the intermediate sprints makes him stronger in the finish line. It's also nice to wear the yellow jersey, but the long-term goal of the green jersey is probably too much to ask for now.
It's a shame about the crash. Everything was going so calm in that department. Hopefully this will bring better racing in the mountains though.
