Happy to have a podium in the first race of the season. Was really close! Great to see a good sprint train being formed by the men in black and yellow *cue black and yellow song*

Positives:
- Sohrabi shows his strength finishing 10th without any kind of support.
- Chaabane gets 6 important KoM-points
Negatives:
- Didn't join the breakaway and totally anonymous troghout the stage.
Great report nonetheless and congrats to Privatbank!

Once again thx for the kind words about the report. Certainly a great first stage and sprint to begin the race. Stage 2 should be up later at night I hope
Spilak23 Both Moreno and Martin stayed together throughout. Then with 2km to go Moreno began joining MTN's train, on the pic it looks like he's hanging but in fact it's him almost making it onto Abadallah's wheel

Okay, it seemed like he was just hanging. Let's hope he can join the right sprint train once again. He will need to take more bonus seconds if he wants to beat Arroyo or Marzano cause I can't really see him following those two on the last stage.

Really good to see Schinker up there, I had real doubts about his backup stats but he almost won
Moreno was also a big surprise, looks like the GC might not just be decided on the one mountain |

Schinker fifth again, even though I didn't see him anywhere?

Damn, looked really good for me for a sec. I'm not expecting wins but this may have been our chance.
Can't wait for tomorrow afternoon.

I like how Anton Martin and Moreno are both sprinting. 6th is good for Anton Martin though he looked in a very good position.

Hoelgaard loses some, wins some, no more youth jersey, KoM jesrsey now
Poli again in an aweful position... Good result tho.
Well not aweful actually, he just had a great chance to hook on Dekkers...

With Burlutskys succesful late attacks last season you really got me nervous there when Chaabane decided to launch one on home soil. A pity it didn't work out, and a bit boring that no sprinters loosed contact with the peloton over the top, leaving Sohrabi with no chance in the sprint
Congrats to Alstom and a bit surprise win for Soupe |

Some nice sprints here with again mixed style results. The sprinting seems to follow some logic all the time which I like. Still it is a mild surprise for me that Dekkers has not been able to snatch
Alak you have a very ordered and well set out reporting with some stylish individual touches. Very much enjoying them.
Perhaps something could have been said about the minor placing of int. sprint number two?

@Alakagom: In the first report, Chaabane ended last, but on the same time as the rest. On the second stage he finished well inside the pack, but is suddenly over 5 minutes behind in the overall. Do you know what's right? Just wondering |

Smowz Thanks Those reports are my first for a long time now ( last time was my team story in summer ) so still getting used to it and I hope every report will get better and better in terms of covering action, coverage, pictures etc. Stage 3 should be best one yet I think.
Bjartne Ooops, well spotted Bjartne Seems when deleting control riders from result on stage 1 I somehow deleted Chaabane lost time, after his attack for KoM points he gave up and just rolled home. Will fix his result in Report 1

Must be to do with his low Mountain Hill rating 52/57 compared to Soupe 64/66 and Polivoda 62/67 |

No problem mate!
Baah, had hopes for him in the youth contest, but that means he might take more chances in breakaways and for KoM-points. Atleast I hope so

If only Team WWE could get more consistent when attacking, so that the KOM jersey was a possibilty...
