Great result for our team given the initial list and the little support that had Mehr-Wenige of his colleagues ... To tell the truth expect more action in the race. At one point even thought that victory would be ours still'm pleased to see that when it took our riders were there to work. Rodriguez was the winner as expected and Samuel Sanchez was a disappointment for me.
Great race and great control from Iberia, Purito killed it in the end with his special move. Maybe much more second tier favourites should try an attack with likes of Weening and Mehr-Wenige, they were too alone in their tries.

Lets fit the rankings updated in before the TDU kicks off:
WWE and Hollister drew blanks in Cuba, with Allianz the best placed of scorers from both races, up to 6th, and maintaining that CT division lead over race winners Iberia.

Comparing a HC race with a C2 race means that those who performed best in the PCT race take priority. But in terms of the CT standings, Rodriguez takes a joint lead with Dekkers now.
What a well deserved win for Iberia. That was played very very cool, and with a team like that Weening needs to be quick on his marks to beat them in this kinda terrain.
Not often am I that well entertained in these levels of racing. What a start!
