Yep we have a German license - are you still able to change that?
Oh and well done on the points system - it does look complicated and I don't have any queries with it

Wow, those numbers look complicated, you spent some time on that(or just took random numbers and wanted to look like you've spent a lot of work on it )
Guess I took the right races, except Skoda & Langkawi..

I'm not sure if the CT should have many point differences, as we could not choose which ones we wanted to ride. If there has to be a difference, I would sort them by race days.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

I will not make any changes to this (unless i've typed it wrong or made some truly dumb maths error) so if you have complaints, tough. Also you are lucky i found a time to do this when i wasnt drunk or hungover

About the point system, as you may know I'm working on my own version to compare at some point during the season. I'm not allowed to give any details yet, but I have one question I'd like some opinions about, as I'm in doubt there myself:
Do you think it's fair to give CT races different values, seeing for PT the selection happened randomly?
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Then the WT shouldn't have separate values as again the WT teams don't have a choice in which ones they race.
And same with the CT in general as the CT teams didnt get a choice?

Well the CT teams did get a choice which WT races they wanted to request a wildcard for whereas the WT teams were given CT-races regardless of points-category...(?)
I assume Tour of Luxembourg belongs in the top-stage race category?

Nope 3rd set with Langkwai.
I shorten it to Skoda (Skoda Tour of Luxembourg)

In that case the point of WT-teams not having equal chances to get points in CT-races stand.
For example my team has only one raceday in a top-category race and the majority in the lowest category.
For the WT-races different categories makes completely sense as it has been known from the start and the CT-races have actually had a chance to choose which races they wanted to race/get a wildcard for. The same can not be said about the races assigned to WT-teams...
Not trying to be annoying, but your answer to Ollfardh just doesn't make sense.

Ok i'll re-word it
The CT system is worked around CT teams, not WT teams.
The WT system is worked around WT teams, not CT teams.
Remember that WT teams take 1/2 points from CT races, so even then they don't make a big impact.
Other info, the difference between Set 1 and Set 3 is 10%, which is a small difference again.
It would be unfair to the CT teams to change the system because some WT teams are unhappy with it.
Any better?

Fair enough, now the explanation at least has some sort of internal logic (though I can't quite see how it would be a disadvantage for the CT-teams if all the races gave the same amount of points since the total potential amount in their races would be constant)
Now I just have to hope that I don't loose a spot in the WT to a team picking up slightly more points on the CT due to a calendar with potentially more points
Ollfardh wrote:

So really (as I see it) you could just have answered "Yes, I think it's fair that the WT teams haven't got the same chance to score points in the CT and no influence on which races to ride"
Spoiler Anyway I'll let it go now that the question has been answered

Well, if you can do the UCI or PCM point system, we'll have another method to try out
Anyway, thanks for the opinions, I think I found a way that's fair to all now
