Real nice shots!

Great race for Malori and Favilli! Hope Malori will keep white jersey and the podium of GC.

fernando97: Yeah, they both did great so far!

Miguel98: Thanks!

sutty68: Not only did he great in the TT, but he managed to stay with the strong men on the hilly terrain! Wink We will find out what happens on the last two stages. Smile

Stromeon: Glad you liked it! He likes the upcoming flat terrain, so we will see what happens!

Ian Butler: Thanks, hopefully you will keep liking the story as it progresses! Smile

ste_18: Thanks! We will see tomorrow if he does so! Wink

With that being said, expect the last two stages of San Luis tomorrow!

Tour de San Luis: Stage 6

A flat stage with a big climb. It will be for the sprinters, so we are aiming for a nice result again.

s13.postimage.org/mkkroonaf/PCM0001.jpg

The first breakaway of the day. They are going for the mountain jersey.

s13.postimage.org/xvnfd1u5j/PCM0002.jpg

These gentlemen want to participate in that too. They manage to catch up to the first group fairly quickly.

s13.postimage.org/o8jx3c15z/PCM0003.jpg

But it is Capecchi, who takes both Mountain Sprints, so he has secured the Mountain Jersey for himself, since there is only one small hill tomorrow.

As usual, the breakaway is caught with 15 kilometres to go. We decide to set up a train for Favilli this time, since Sabatini is not feeling very well… Saur-Sojasun is setting up their train for Simon...

s13.postimage.org/8919js547/PCM0004.jpg

...And he takes the win in front of Favilli, who will wear the Green Jersey tomorrow!

Tour de San Luis: Stage 7

Another stage for the sprinters, so it will probably be quite a boring stage. This calls for a short report! (We are aiming for the win with Favilli to secure his green jersey.)

s7.postimage.org/w8g4bovq3/PCM0005.jpg

The breakaway of the day formed quickly. However they probably knew there was no chance for them to win the stage.

s7.postimage.org/6bmfz2s2j/PCM0006.jpg

The trains are getting formed, the breakaway is getting caught... Our train for Favilli seems to be working well...

s7.postimage.org/byiswjul7/PCM0007.jpg

And he takes it in a very close sprint! He secured the Green Jersey for himself!

In the end we take home two jerseys and three stage wins (if you can take those home...) and a podium place in the GC. We can call it a successful race.

Next up is the G.P. Costa degli Etruschi!

Note: I was shocked by the great results I managed to get. From now on I will play on hard difficulity.

Miguel98
Great results in Argentina. Looks like your riders found some special presents for such good results, if you know what I mean.

sutty68
Brilliant win from Favilli, great sprinting on show there Grin

Overall a great time in Argentina for the team Wink

Ian Butler
Brilliant victory! And that was an awesome banana Pfft

sutty68
Have to ask though, what are the bananas sitting on Embarassed

juszta
sutty68: Thanks! Also, it's a llama! https://meme.wikia...ki/Bunchie

Ian Butler: Thanks, glad you liked the banana Pfft

Miguel98: No, but they must have enjoyed they steaks they had eaten... I mean... Never mind...

fernando97
Favili! Smile What a win, great job juszta!

Miguel98
You didn't know what I meant? Well, you should had. Here's a clue: they're are in America Latina, so it shouldn't be that hard to find now. Wink

juszta
fernando97: Thanks! Glad you liked it!

Miguel98: Yes, I understood, the "If you know what I mean" part was pretty clear Wink I, however, declined the fact, that they were involved in such things Wink And they didn't eat Contador's steaks either, so that's also not a reason for their good results!

The Race

"The route is fairly hilly, so there should be plenty of action!" The announcer is probably right on this one. A breakaway could make it to the finish, but the clear favourites are the sprinters.

s1.postimage.org/hd27cukv3/PCM0013.jpg

It was raining attacks all the way during the race, there was no established breakaway. Interestingly big favourites such as Viviani and Modolo desperatly tried to be part of the right breakaway.

s1.postimage.org/g9i30w07z/PCM0014.jpg

The last breakaway attempt with 5 km to go includes Alessandro Ballan! But our train does not let anybody break away this late into the stage.

s1.postimage.org/u1whwiqzj/PCM0015.jpg

Our leadout for Favilli seems to be working perfectly... Can he finish it?

s1.postimage.org/7oor9pq1r/PCM0016.jpg

Yes, he can! What an amazing victory against all odds! He can really be proud of himself, but he can also thank his teammates for the amazing leadout he had received.

Swift and Ciolek were nowhere to be seen (Swift got 9th, but he should have been able to finish much higher), so their form must have been pretty bad...

Next up is the Vuelta a Mallorca, where we can expect a tough field!

Note: This was my second race ever on hard mode in PCM12, but it turned out to be a win. If I continue to get too good results, I will try and upgrade to extreme. But if I get just about realistic results, I will continue on hard.

Miguel98
It's a realistic result that one because expect for Swift, all the rider behing you are worst sprinters than Favilli. Wink

Jesleyh
Great victory Wink
Don't worry, it's not unrealistic. Just like Miguel said, only Swift is a better sprinter. + I also found out that it's easy to get plenty of wins in the early season, since your cyclists are in a good form most of the time, and the AI cyclists aren't...
