Three races that are a must for me. 9 filler races, I guess. The list seems fine. I'm a little happy that Tour of America isn't on the list.

Eastern Europe doesnt exactly have a huge amount of choice for races, and none suited what I wanted for the HC calendar. Plus, with quite a few Eastern European CT teams it didnt make too much sense to make an Eastern European race HC where they most likely cant then ride it! Just wait for the C1/C2 calendars Avin, Miggi and co
I know this is not exactly the place but I've planned a 9 day race across Hungary. The rute has been created and is fully playable but it needs some expert hand in stages "beautification". If somebody has the time to do it, send me a PM and I will be happy to give him the ownership of the race.

I thought the same when I looked at this thread
Tour de Pologne is absent.. So is it just a C2 race?

It wouldnt be the Kenya Mountain Classic if it went up Kilimanjaro Real roads are used on the route anyway, so Kilimanjaro wouldnt work.
Just trying to read up on it - can't see it on the Africa Tour route on UCI page - is the route based loosely on this race?

If it is, I'm imagining it as a dirt road - strade bianchi - African classic with a mountain or mountains at the end? |

No it's a fantasy race ending in a twenty kilometre climb

Yeh, as mb says, its a fantasy race. One of many fantasy races in PCT/CT this season - much easier to go on bikeroutetoaster and draw up a route than make do with whatever the real race organisers come up with!

Like the TdF this year... So glad I don't have to field a team for that!

Sounds pretty cool - big fan of a good fantasy race.
After reading about the sportive in the link I posted above and looking at some of the pictures, I'm quite hoping for some dirt roads and a climb like the Plan de Corones? Is that about what we're going to get? Quite intrigued about this race - the one outside Italy that has caught my imagination the most. |

I haven't finished the file, otherwise I would post the profile, but the climb itself is mostly tarred. There are plenty of gravel roads on other parts of the route though.

Cool - thanks for the answer. Sounds like it will be a cool addition to the calendar. |
