[PCT] Alstom - RBC 2013

Seeing Houle in your team still hurts a bit Wink

He‘d become the perfect leadout man for Demare, or basically any sprinter in this game.
Alternatively he'll be an adequate Bellis challenger.

Congratulations on that steal for 85k.

jt1109
@Roturn credit Oleg for the wheels and if Ryan can be up there in them he'll have done very well and i think the Quebec one should suit him so we shall see.

@Cio yeah I've planned for him to become a punchuer 78 with 73 sprint maxed out so not as good as Johnny but with training he could become as goodGrin.

RBC to become sole Title Sponsor

www.rbc.com/_assets-custom/images/rbc3d.jpg

Statement just released by Team Director Steve Bauer "After a 2 year long slot as title sponsor of our team Alstom has decide to downscale it's investment in our team to that of a secondary sponsor role, alongside former title sponsor BIC. This has meant that our new sole title sponsor is Royal Bank of Canada the team will be renamed RBC Pro Cycling Team"

According to source close to the sponsor the team will receive a increased budget for the 2014 season, though greatly increased difficulty of goals is thought to have been set in the meeting with Bauer. During Bauer interview he also stated his sadness of Kit Sponsor Le Coq Sportif withdrawal after 2 years sponsorship with an apparent non-mainstream but highly scientific brand having been chosen as the kit sponsor.

Bauer also said that although french sponsorship was diminishing it did not mean the end to all french riders " Some french riders will stay and the good relationship we made with Festina-Canal during the off season, means we could be loaned more french riders in the future but, we also hope that this could mean Canadian riders get a chance in the Protour as well." Bauer then went on to say " they [french riders] will no longer be a priority compared to home grown talent. Which is what RBC's sponsorship is about."

Wins from Ryan Anderson and David Boily this season could we see more Canadian wins in the future?

Roy is another one of those riders who interest me. You'd be mad to let him go though, surely?

jt1109
Roy will be a rider that wouldn't be certain to stay especially with the focus the sponsors are trying to bring in.

Team RBC 2014

*BEAR IN MIND THIS IS IF I SATY PCT WHICH IS UNCERTAIN AT THE MOMENT TO SAY THE LEAST*

Staying

Ryan Anderson
Guillaume Boivin
Antoine Duchesne
Hugo Houle

No surprises here my pride and joy in my Canadians hopefully with some improvements can get me even more points this year.

Staying will only Leave with good offer

Kristijan Durasek
Christian Meier
Peter Pancake
Dominque Rollin
Ryan Roth
Sebastian Salas

No surprise that my trusted Canadians are here and will all be staying put Durasek is the only one and his performances this season have made me say he is almost certain of staying he has been that valuable for me.

Looking for Offers

David Boily (LOAN TO MAX OUT)
Christopher De Sousa
Loic Desirac
Sebastian Ivars
Jeremy Roy
Geoffrey Soupe
Thomas Vauvourzeix

Don't think i've gone mad Boily is on here as he needs Maxing out next year so will go PT for the year to whoever wants the 74 Mountain 76 hill Canadian, De Sousa and Desirac are in the same boat of been with the team can keep but not bothered in letting go for a fair price same with Vauvourzeix. Next is Sebastian Ivars who i will try and ship out as he doesn't really fit with the new sponsor and hasn't impressed this year. Soupe can stay but if an offer comes we like the look of will leave and Jeremy Roy will try and be shopped out BUT if the right deal isn't found he stays.

Gone

Charles Dionne
John Gadret
Said Haddou
Laurent Mangel
Alexandre Pichot
Cedric Pineau
Perig Quemeneur

Sad to see these loyal servants go Dionne, Gadret, Haddou you served us well my friends.

So you're going the Climberv1 way with Boily? Might make him interesting for a loan if his wage drops a bit.
Still bummed that Houle is yours and not mine, but I guess that'll stay that way Pfft

Furthermore, Ivars is a great rider for PT, and Soupe is a very good deal for that wage.
Something along the line of adding a Demare loan to such a deal (if you can get him to level 4) comes to my mind right now.
(I'm sorry I can't offer you any Canadians Wink )

Now to decide if I want to try to go for Roy again after Gautier's complete failure of a season...

Ulissi will be in Evian only over my dead body. Cool
I'll be back

@Cio93 Yeah that's the way he's going wouldn't make sense to me to have him go just punchuer as his stamina would only gain i think 2 more points the ClimberV1 with no more hill points.

@Countarach Well I was after Gautier last season as well haha

@Heine Could well be though i guess a lot depends on if you go PT as well.

@JPH27 Thanks JPH and hopefully for you he won't be gone by thenWink

@LLS yeah sorry about that changed it now Embarassed

If I do get into the MG I would be interested in Boily if you want him in CT, definitely interested in Roy and Gadret depending on how much I would be required to pay.

Boily would need to go Pro Tour next year to Max out LLS and Gadret will go to free agency but will decline and Roy maybe out of your price range haha sorry to dismantle your list there.

Here's the post which explains the XP system and what i'm talking about with Boily it also include the excel sheet with the declines so you can see how much Gadret declines.
