Thanks for all your support guys. Thanks Ian and Sutty. I haven't raced the final stage yet and it probably won't be up till maybe the weekend or Friday afternoon.
I also just looked at the age of decline an they were all 40 except for Jens Voight who was like 80 or something. They all have a few years left in the legs before they decline.

Voigt declines at 80, that's unrealistic... He won't decline at least til 100 years old
Best of luck in the final stage! |

That's true. Maybe I should change it. As an experiment and see when he retires.
And thanks ian

Stage 5
Today is the last stage of the Trofeo Mallorca. It is another hill stage with the main climb in the middle. We want to get the jersey back with George today.
The Race
The whole team (except for Moinard) set up at the front of the peloton. We really want that jersey back.
My manager said I could give the break a go today so I went for it at the top of the first hill along with Degand and Spilak.
With 100km to go me and the other 2 breakaway riders were working well together and had 4.55 on the peloton.
At the start of the main hill my group was 8.32 ahead of the peloton with 67km to go. It will be close at the finish.
A group of 10 favourites went off the front. It included Oroz, Melero, Orengo, Eijssen, Nieve, Hincapie, Moinard, Txurruka, Cobo Acebo and Kiryienka. No Gilbert again.
Gilbert attacked trying to get into the favourites group.
Unfortunately Hincapie couldn’t hold on to the favourites. He can no longer win the race overall anymore.
Degand and I went on the attack again with 23km to go. We were trying very hard to go all the way home.
Nieve caught up to our group with 15km to go.
Moinard also passed us with 8km to go. He was 1.07 behind Nieve.
And Nieve does it again. He makes it 2 wins in a row. Great ride by him.
Kiryienka came in 1.30 later to get 2nd. Moinard about 2 minutes behind for 3rd place.
Hincapie managed to come back in the end to finish in the 4th group to get 6th place. Spilak rounded out the top 10 just ahead of me.

A good race for the team. Hincapie managed to keep his 2nd overall so fantastic race for him. I managed to claim the mountains jersey in my first race as a professional. That really gave me a lot of motivation along with the 2nd in young riders. A very successful race for the team. Next up is the GP di Luguno which I hope to get a top 10 in.
Until then

Mikel Nieve was too strong for Hincapie but he tried hard and a podium came from it Nice work from Elvir as well. |

Stage 1
Today is a hilly stage going around a circuit but has a downhill finish. This suits Mauro Santambrogio and that’s who will be our leader today.
The Race
A group of 28 rode of the front thanks to the work of the team. None of the favourites Except Santambrogio, Pineau and Me were in the group.
Frank took over from Phinney with 123km to go and I was on his wheel with Santambrogio on my wheel.
Me, Frank and Santambrogio rode off the front with 117km to go. Me and Frank swapped positions.
I pulled off and dropped off with 80km to go. I had done my job and could just ride at my own pace now.
Over the top for the 3rd time Frank and Santambrogio were 2.07 ahead of the peloton. Only 1 more time on the hill again.
With 32km to go Frank and Santambrogio was still out front. They were 2.11 ahead of 2 chasers who are Martin and Schleck. It is pretty much a 4 man race now.
With 20km to go Santambrogio left Frank and started to go alone. Martin was only about 20 seconds behind now though.
With 17km to go Martin was with Santambrogio at the front.
With 6km to go Martin and Santambrogio started the final climb together. If there are no attacks then it will come down to a sprint.
With 3km to go the sprint started. Santambrogio was on Martin’s wheel but does he have the energy to get around him?
Yes. Santambrogio takes the win with ease. He must’ve been the strongest today but he wouldn’t have been able to do it without the support of the team.
Martin took a great 2nd place, Schleck for 3rd. Mathias Frank took a fantastic 4th place with Vona rounding out the top 10.

Great race by the team. I finished way back but I am satisfied with my work and the great win by Santambrogio. Unfortunately I didn’t achieve my goal for a top 10 but it’s okay because I tried my best and I haven’t been feeling that good lately. Next up I race the Strade Bianchi.
Seeya soon

Thanks guys. The team really worked hard to get him there. I need ideas for teams. His contract ends at the end of next season and not sure what team he should go on. Any ideas?
Thanks

Great teamwork for the win.
Why not stay on BMC a bit longer. They're a good team, that ride the biggest races - and they like him a bit extra for being Swiss.
If he feels he is ready to ride as captain, one of the smaller WorldTour teams may be the way to go (depending on promotions/relegations). Or you could just not extend his BMC-contract and see who signs him...

Well I think you need to decide which will keep you more motivated.
It's either working as a teammate with bmc in the big races and maybe captain, with strong teammates around you, in smaller races, or it's going to another team, maybe a smaller WorldTour team like Atlantius said, and being a captain for all the races, but with weaker teammates as support.

I'd like to see him develop a bit longer with BMC, maybe taking on a leader role in minor races
But it's entirely up to you! |

SOrry for not posting guys. I am up to the Strade Bianchi but my game has stopped yet again. I can't actually race Strade Bianchi. I think no more story.
I have always wanted to try a man game but then I remembered my game probably wouldn't let me so I wanted to know of there was anyone that wanted to help me with a man game and do all the races and things like that.
Thanks and sorry
