That is a freaking awesome TT. 5th from Pozzato is much much better than I ever thought possible. I got worried for a second as I saw Devolder doing pretty well, only losing so much on Cancellara.
5th on the stage pretty much seals the points classification as far as I can tell.
Bewley is pretty sure of finishing within the first 2-3 tomorrow, so Steurs won't get that 9th I reckon. Now just hoping for a race without crashes or stupid splits for me. It would be one off, but I desperately need it to not fuck up 4/5 goals. An even with the win my PT top 5 seems very hard to achieve.

Good win for Cancellara there.....won't be enough to save his team though. |

YES! This is freaking awesome! Finally the luck turned for an entire stagerace. Not many stageraces in this season has been without crashes or splits for my captains, but when they do manage to go without them, they win or come second
Also Steurs managing to get safely within the group, and thanks to the breakaway for keeping sprinters behind. Winning the race, getting the points jersey and also getting 9th GC is superbly done. Hopefully this means that we will close in on that 5th place which is immensely important for us.

It's not a super bad race, but nonetheless it's disappointing. Should have had atleast a top 10 in the GC.

True. Bacardi might have been the most unluckiest team here. Nearly on every split one of your leaders have been involved and Burghhardt puncturing on one stage.
In general I liked the race. Not many annoying stupid splits, no favourite crashed out. Only the sprints have been weird.
Congrats to Festina, was a great race for them. Also Spyker with some important points. |

Well, at least we had a stage win. Could've been worse.

Great reports Roturn, thanks. Slightly sad to finish on same time as Boonen but 8th and 14th and Team winner should be a nice points haul. |

Great reporting of the always chaotic race!
Stage 1: Surprisingly strong. Einsle did well and Hoogerland/Mehr-Wenige hung in there
Stage 3: 4th and 5th decent enough, though should have beaten Lang!
Stage 4: My team isnt built for Cobbles...
Stage 6: Massive fail by Hoogerland, but Einsle riding great again! KoM lost but well fought over, and a strong stage result
Stage 7: Ford isnt good on Stamina!
Stage 8: WALLAYS
All things considered, a good race for Vesuvio. Nice to be in all the breakaways in a race for once and 17th overall for Einsle is a nice bonus!

Got to be satisfied with Ballan at 4th in the GC, some useful points coming in here.

considering the bad luck of Van Garderen, couldn't have expected much more from Summerhill with his atrocious tt's.

Wait, what. That's actually very decent. Still could have been better, but it's acceptable.

Well done by my Spyker team. Obviously one of the better efforts over an otherwise tragic season. |

Quite disappointed with what Posthuma did, but Florencio's performance was pretty amazing.
