It will be incredibly hard to get a top 10 in the tour with Tony Martin especially since he has aspirations for the Olympics and worlds. But it isn't impossibleWink

Cool. Very good team. Hope my climbers Kern and Velits will rivalize with Kesiakoff and Nibali

Early Season Preview

January 19-24 | UWT

Spoiler
Rockstar Lineup

Aitor Galdos
Guillame Boivin
Zdenek Stybar
Sebastien Langeveld
David Boily
Adrian Palomares
Timothy Duggan

Aitor Galdos is our ultimate leader here. Great climber and sprinter, he will lead our charge up Willunga Hill. Form is hard to tell this early in the season, and our sponsor's aren't overly bothered about this race, so no pressure. Guillame Boivin is our top sprinter, but he won't have a great chance to compete against some of the world's best who are expected Down Under. The rest of the team are domestiques for Aitor and Guillame.

January 23-29 | 2.1

Spoiler
Rockstar Lineup

Vincenzo Nibali
Juan Jose Haedo
Sergey Lagutin
Koen De Kort
Andrey Kashechkin
David Veilleux
Kevin Lacombe
Frantisek Rabon

Our goal here is to win every stage. Might seem tough, but with Heado sprinting in his home country, and Vincenzo being one of the world's best climbers and TTers, it's not impossible. SRAM has specifically specified it's desire for us to do well here, and we will do everything we can to win. Kashechkin and Lagutin will be Vinnie's top domestiques, with Lacombe and Veilleux leading out J.J.

Spoiler
Rockstar Lineup

Guillame Boivin
Bobbie Traksel
JT Locke
Frantisek Rabon
PL Borghini
Koen De Kort
Dominique Rollin
Tino Thomel

Cleary not an awesomely strong squad, but with Guillame's hopefully good form, he may suprise the other sprinters and get some good results. The rest of the team hopes to be prominent in the breaks, as well as the TTT on stage 2 where Frantisek Rabon will lead the team over the line.

Are any of the leaders peaking a little (I know it's hard in January Pfft), to rule San Luis?

Well since we weren't allowed custom schedules, no. But they should still have good enough form to win. Wink

i1221.photobucket.com/albums/dd464/cunego59/Flags/au.gif Tour Down Under - Expectations Met, But a Quiet Start
www.desoreilly.com/Slow%20Cooker/Tour-Down-Under-Logo(2).jpg
The Tour Down Under concluded yesterday to a fireworks display in the Adelaide CBD, as VI - SigaarSnor celebrated their young star Peter Sagan's overall victory. Behind all the bright lights of Adelaide (Pfft) we were relaxing at the hotel, having a minor celebration as the team concluded the first UWT race unscathed, and with a satisfying result from our leaders Aitor Galdos and Guillame Boivin. A 16th overall from Aitor was a nice suprise, but no one could follow the big wins of Peter Sagan (VI - SigaarSnor) and Nicholas Roche (Audi-Trek).

4.bp.blogspot.com/_HL58wo2Jtf4/TSl8nlav_YI/AAAAAAAAEmQ/LysTikSBHQw/s1600/TourSanLuis_logo.jpg

We entered the Tour de San Luis with some big goals. And although we didn't win every stage, we still got our first three of the season, and the overall rankings went the way of our leader Vincenzo Nibali. A slow start climaxed with Nibali and Haedo winning the final two stages, and a dominant display in most rankings. The main competitors to the win were Staf Scheirlinckx (OPQS) and Yaroslav Popovych (Katusha)

With Ryder Hesjedal and Tony Martin, we expected a top-10 at least. But they both failed to impress, because of poor form. It seemed Fredrik Kessiakoff would be our best performer, soloing to a great victory on the 5th stage, finishing a minute ahead of Alberto Contador (Holden) and Alejandro Valverde (Blusens). Tony Martin would give our next best performance with a top-10 on stage 8. All in all pretty dissapointing performance, but a win is always good.
